Hi,

I would like some feedback on the following:

I am about to promote a free movie trial which pays out $20 per conversion.

I have set a daily budget of $25 which estimates 55 views and a CTR of 5%, am I right in thinking (although its an estimate) that a CTR of 5% will mean 5% will hopefully convert?

If so then between 2-3 will convert which for every $25 spend will return $40 = a $15 a day profit?

Thanks

Well 5% CTR means 5% of the people who view your ad will click it and go to the offer, (if you're direct linking). Then there's the conversion rate once there. It will be below 5% most likely. So if you send 1,000 to view your ad, 5% click it, that's 50 people. Then if 5% of the 50 convert, you've got 2.5 conversions.

Now you can figure out how much you need to spend to profit based on that.

best way to know is to test and collect some data . there are many possibilities , and many factors involved for example traffic source (is it ppv, social traffic or ppc) , using landing page/ direct linking , final conversion rate (which you can`t figure out until you test)

What platform do you plan on running on? 55 views is definitely not a lot at all. Also, those conversion rates are pretty high.

    55 views for 20$???

Well, people might click your offer or not but you get paid when the people enter the email or whatever is required to complete the offer.

the price for views look really high for me and I wouldn't test it if I were you.

Keep us informed if you decide to test it!
