CPA for a beginner some recommendations

Hi guys,

Has stated in the title, i was thinking in starting in the CPA world, i´m not new in IM and i´m having a decent to a good success (depending in your prospective, since these metrics are quite subjective for each person).

But i was thinking to get in the CPA world since its where the big bucks are. I have investigated a bit about the networks and have decided where to apply.

My question here is more where to find the "CPA BIBLE" if it exists, if not any good thread to learn a lot about it.

I was thinking to promote an excellent quality product/service using exclusively PPC, and about that i have one question that many of you know. Well can i advertise directly the Affiliate link (or shortened) directly to the product homepage or i will need to create a blog about it and created specialized articles?

I was thinking more in advertise, pick the best keywords for the niche and target directly the homepage of the product i´m promoting?

But all the advises are most welcome. About investment i can start as low as 1k to 10k, for now that's not an issue. but before that stage i would like to learn with the people who is there for a couple years, what will be the best advices/guides. But please don´t focus me to those WSO where people earned millions and want to sell a guide for a few bucks try to be honest (i now sometimes is difficult.)

Thanks in advance,
Morg

I recomend combining CPV (instead of PPC) traffic with your CPA offers. It is much more affordable so you can start with a much smaller investment.

Testing with $50 to find the right offer, or urls to target, or squeezepage is all you need at first. The object is to find the right combination of offer/url list/squeezepage, and then put more money into your next campaign. Keep testing and tweaking.

You should study what is CPA about, you can't start draining your money to learn something.
For a beginner like you, I would recommend starting out with the oldest model of ad platform, PPC. Try learn about the keywords, the market behind the product etc etc.

I understand quite well about PPC, since i promote many sites by PPC plus a very good keyword research.
But i will follow the PPC adv. for the 1st offer. but before i will read about it.

      thanks,
      Morg

        Dear Morg,
The difference bw CPC and CPA mode is that you won't qualify CPA until you have around 20 Conversion per month. CPC is simpler, open for everyone. But there are shortcuts to get accepted to CPA. I've been there. Don't start small. Just shoot big and see what happens =D

        G'luck

Since money does't seem to be an issue for you, I would invest in Gauher Chaudry's Pay Per Click Formula v3 (unless there's a newer one).

Here's some other training material you should pick up:

    Rags to Riches - Kenster
CPA Network Acceptance Guide - Kenster
CPA Newbie System - William Souza
    $100 Daily with CPA - Naveen K
CPA 4 Newbies - William Souza
    Traffic Blackbook - Chad Hamzeh

You may not need to read all of it before you get started. In fact, I would suggest you start applying what you learn before you finish reading everything... that way you don't get stuck in study mode like someone I know

    Good luck.

First of all, get as much information as you can for free. If I'm not wrong, Kenster's guide Rags to Riches is being distributed for free now, and it's an excellent guide for beginners. There are also helpful threads on thsi forum and you can find valuable informaiton if you take a few minutes to research. Finally, you can get free training from some CPA networks just for being their publisher and, sometimes, those courses are even better than the paid ones.

But if you have some money and would like to invest on paid courses to speed up the process, I recommend SixMonthsFromToday and StackThatMoney. Chad's Traffic Blackbook is very nice, too.

Yes, it is free and can be found at FREE: Rags2Riches Ebook | Six Figure Mission | Kenster's Internet Marketing Blog

At the end of the day, this is only a good foundation. You really need to invest in yourself either by looking at multiple other resources, digging in and grinding it out by trial and error, or getting a higher end course/coach/etc

At the end of the day, no single resource will be all you need

Good luck...lots of opportunity in CPA Marketing :p

as a beginner I'd definately go for a traffic source that is affiliate friendly. this in terms of ban chances, things that are allowed to do on the source etc.. for instance: Theres a big chance Facebook wil ban you for running a dating ad, or google because you ran an offer they don't like. POF, PPV and media buys almost don't have these problems and are a pretty good place to start IMO.

Id suggest you cut your teeth at POF. It will teach you everything you need to know about demographic targeting and CPM bidding. And you do not need to pitch dating there either. Lots of offers work.

Hi , I am Sharad and from India. I am greatly interested in CPA but I keep on hearing that people from India will have great difficulty in getting accepted by CPA offers.
IS it true? If I decide on this model I have to do CPA offers from other countries, will that be a problem?

My IM coach Kenster is releasing CPA superstars on Thursday, I can't say if that particular course is good as I have not seen it but I am blown away by his IM coaching and if that is anything to go by then CPA superstars will be an excellent product.

      FYI...

Many of the Rags2Riches download links are currently not active as I have a splash page that overrides most of the pages on the specific domain they are hosted at but they should be active within the next week!
