Hello everyone

So I have been messing around with paid traffic with abrite.

Worst traffic ever. Over 300 visits and not one was at my site for a second.

Can someone recommend a paid traffic source that works for building a list?

Mate, you dont just need a traffic source, you need a good traffic source so that the subscribers convert at the back end.

First think about the type of offer you are promoting and then based on that go to the next step.

That is what I'm looking for. I understand what I need for my ROI.

Adbrite is not a good traffic source. I targeted it down to where adbrite couldnt even spend my $8. With me telling them the traffic im looking for they still got all my traffic from a forum in Pakistan. I clicked US only.

I would us Google But I cant. Any recommendation?

I think the best Paid Traffic for list building is Solo Ads.
With Solo Ads, you could get a lot of opt-ins in short time. It's quite expensive, but Solo Ads is guaranteed to bring you opt-ins.

Another good option is by using Adwords Display Network (banner ads) to build your list. With ADN, you could get cheap traffic to send to your squeeze page and with the same quality traffic with the Search Network. But, to use Adwords for list-building is a little bit tricky because of it's strict TOS.

Adbrite is really horrible. I will suggest you to do google adwards campaign to get quality and geo targeting traffic. They will must stay atleast 30 sec on your sites.

If you are doing dating type offers, then PlentyOfFish is pretty good. 7search is good too. You may also try to use Microsoft Ad Center.

Try small media buys with Adhitz, Adperium and Adengage. Pick one depending on your niche.

Google has banned my adsense account and because of that they banned my adwords account.

For some reason Google doesn't like me. I still don't know why the accounts have been banned.

I'm just looking for a reliable source of traffic.

I hate spending money on BS. I should make a list on the BS that I spent money on.

So what works best, solo ads, media buys, ext?

Money is not the problem. Finding a reliable source that works is my problem.

Using paid traffic is always risky. Most of the time the quality of traffic is very low to give good conversion rate. So, for getting to paid traffic, it's better to go for renowned familiar provider like 7search, though their rate may seem higher than others.

Traffic is essential to any online business. If you have enough traffic, then any offer, no matter how terrible, will eventually make money. People actually do make money, albeit small amounts, from AdSense sites that are designed to be so bad that they will encourage people to click on an ad just to escape the horror.

To an extent it will depend on your niche.

Generally you can check out the high quality ones - Google, MSN, Facebook.

Facebook ads, POF ads, PPV (LI & TV), PPC (Adwords, Bing), Sitescout etc. Make sure that you have a good landing page for better conversions (more opt-ins)

I don't really like paid traffic. Why pay for it if you can do it yourself. Maybe paying for adds in Facebook or other sites is worth it. Good luck.

If you would like to go with Media Buying, you could use BuySellAds. BSA is the marketplace for media buying. You could find websites to advertise on, easily there. Just do little research first before you buy the adspace. Make sure the site's visitors are your targeted users, so you could get targeted traffic that will convert.

I tried bidvertiser and they scammed me.
Their site is down. Charged me $105. The contact info in the "who is" database is incorrect.
Tried to email and said there was an permanent error. There is 2 numbers. One has an extra number and the other is out of order.

This is the crap I'm talking about. I hate people that scam.

Like others have said, it depends on the niche you're promoting.

Are you offering anything in exchange for the opt-in? People will need a good reason to give you (real) email addresses.

Also, like ppc-coach said you really can't judge a traffic source by 300 clicks.

Paid traffic is your best friend if it is what the product your selling is what the person is looking for. Simple as that. Find the people who want that product and show them to the site

Use adf.ly if you have a good converting squeeze page. Been finding that Social marketing products are generating me more leads and sales on this platform.

I have been using solo ads for over 8 months to build my lists and they rock

But you do need to have your system set up first though and make sure you have your OTO and an upsell if you have one

once you have a profitable funnel set up you then just scale up your traffic
