tracking - fire the pixel in clickbank

Hello!

I really don't understand how to make my pixel fired on sales in clickbank (of course and with other affiliate network, but let's do the first step).
I use tracking202. In the step #8 of the setup, tracking202 gives me the choice between pixel and URL, but I don't know where to put them.
Does anybody know how to do it?

thanks in advanced!

    Hi,

I do not think you can with Clickbank, at least I have not found a way to do it. Pity!

I saw a video, but with an old version of Tracking202, where they go in Stat202 > Setup > My postback URL and insert here the URL they got from the Step #8. Then in Stat202 Setup > My affiliate account > add new account they insert the affiliate network (in this case Clickbank) user, password and affiliate ID... and that's all

Now in the new version I can't find the menu Stat202! and the other settings I just wrote.

    There's must be a way!

Hi MTVida, thanks for the tip.
But It would be better an automatic import of data without the copy and paste.
I think clickbank know when there's a conversion, so i supposed our pixel can be fired from them instead of the product page.
    what do you think?

Well it would certainly be ideal to get conversion data automatically with tracking pixels, but Clickbank doesn't support it as far as I'm aware.

KJ's suggestion works, but only if the product owners are responsive, which isn't always the case.

Importing subIDs is a sure way to get conversion data. I work with some CPA networks where I have go this route too, because they don't support pixels. It's not that much more work, really.

Anyway, it's up to you what you want to do

    wow... looks so cool!
I'm just a newbie, and right now, I'm testing tracking202 self hosted version.
But this looks like more than a tracking tool, aren't you.
You know if is it free?

If you're using Prosper202 (the self hosted version of 202) you can use CB-Trax instead of trying to get a clickbank vendor to place a pixel for you. Most vendors either a) never answer their email or b) won't place or don't know how to place a pixel for you.

CB-Trax uses the clickbank IPN and is better than using pixels IMO, but I might be a bit biased =p
