On my journey to setting up various Facebook campaigns, I've collected a list of case studies that might be helpful for others as well.

The studies range in topic and testing criteria so feel free to check them out, and create yourself some profitable campaigns.

I haven't achieved profitability with a direct-linking facebook campaign yet, there may be plenty of opportunity.

Thanks for your honesty....so you have somewhat confirmed my theory that you need a good angle for Facebook and CPA offers, and this is better achieved through using a lander

The lander could be as simple as a facebook page with an iFrame (would ultimately lower costs as well).

Not just guys who sell info products and WSOs. Here's another site where you can see some ad case studies on various platforms for ads:

Yea, teaching noobs is the best way to learn as well, thus 20+ case studies to to show what works and what doesn't can speed up your learning curve exponentially.
