Best way to budget and track spending's/keywords for PPC?

Hi All

I'm just getting into PPC after cracking "PPD" successfully, I'm using Adcenter right now, I have worked out how to select decent offers from the two networks I currently use EWA AND CPATank, so that is not an issue at all.

I guess it's down to the fact that my maths quite honestly SUCKS!, so I'm some what scared to start up further campaigns, simply because I need to learn how to track keywords and my spending's and stuff like that.

I started up one test campaign and managed to make a bit of money. I have paused the campaign now, just because I would like to learn more about how to track and budget.

I did setup Prosper for the tracking, I'll need to buy some new hosting to use it on however, as the free hosting I tried did not work out due to the traffic problems it was getting.

I guess my main problem is how to keep a track of the spending's, so as not to spend out to much and things. Any tips would be appreciated greatly, from anyone with good experience with this.

Cheers

-Lee

Hey there is nothing wrong if your math sucks ha ha ,well tracking is the main thing which make your campaign successful and makes it possible for your to test different things .About hosting etc remember it takes money to make money , When you are driving paid traffic you pay for each and every click so this is must that your visitors reach your landing page using free hosting etc you lose your paid traffic just because like you many other people are also availing that free opportunity and that makes servers slow ... we need a fast and reliable solution. , Use tracker , so you can track each and every click based on that data you will be able to optimize your campaigns , About tracking i recently did an article i hope will help you out do check it out here Tracking your Traffic | KJ Rocker

Thanks for the kind advice and article, I shall take a look at it later. I guess it's best that I setup the tracker on my own hosting then, I currently use Dreamhost and they have very good reliable servers.

The only snag with them is they don't offer the Cpanel, the system they offer is beyond confusing and annoys the hell out of me.

      Cheers

If your site has high paying keywords, you would expect to make more money with ppc but at the same time I'm sure your site will also have low paying keywords.

I forgot to ask you something, I use the direct linking method to the landing pages. I understand that some PPC users use their own landing pages. Would you suggest it best to go ahead and setup my own custom related landing pages etc...

    Thanks

Is this tool similar to Prosper 202, CPV Lab, and the like or something different?
Is it only available through the PPC-Coach site (therefore not available to you if you end your monthly subscription?)
