Can I sell this traffic to CPA Marketers ? Price?

I have some traffic that is unusual. I occasionally do work on ad campaigns for clients and brands and control the exit pages etc. I was thinking of selling this traffic a little bit differently on a performance basis versus the same o cost per 1k. I was thinking of using this to help subsidize some of the campaigns. Was thinking of selling it per opt in or user. I know a basic cpa offer is around $.80-$1.00 and was gonna charge say in packs of 100 opt ins. All would be US based mostly thats what we mostly handle at the agency.

What would this go for on a per conversion basis say on simple email/zip submits on offers? I personally was thinking $.25 on prepay and selling it for $100-$250 minimum orders. Delivery in 10 business days. We generate a boatload of traffic, and was looking at dumping it off for ad revenue.

      Most are broad consumer oriented as are for mostly big brands, food establishments etc. However we have a contention in the payday, and financial space as well. Its kinda all over the board....

      -- Energy Drinks
      -- Food Establishments
      -- Entertainment/Music
      -- Fashion
      -- Payday / Sub Prime Financial

      I was looking at a few CPA networks and took an average $1.00-$1.60 on email and zip submit types. This I would assume would be an easy way to monetize the opt ins or subscribers.

      I am thinking if I did it as a performance model where either they signup on the list or complete your email submit or whatever CPA model then it could work. I know for a fact free offers, freebies, and email/zip submits would work if they are consumer oriented. Right now though everyone is looking to make more money, and something like making money on the side, or creating some supplemental stream of income would be a good ad to run.

      With solo ads running up to $500-$600 just for an ad, I figured a guaranteed opt-ins program would work better. Money is tight and every marketer likes an ROI. I can probably deliver about 700-1,000 new leads a day to someone on a subscription basis. I am sure a good list marketer could then rent that out for solo ads on the clicks alone.

      I am even thinking of tossing in a facebook app, and viral kickstart too with each order....

    Good idea of course mate, a lot of people would be interested in buying the traffic, but you're the one that would get sc*wd eventually .. think "scrubing".

    There's absolutely no way you can check if a conversion happened or not, therefore you'll have to deal with cheating and frauding..

    What you can do is setup your own email submit with a simple coreg path on it (silver path or game theory) and keep the monetization in-house

      Your right on that. I figure I could have my team script some items, as well limit and interview who we take on. There is always postback url checking etc, and maybe just budget for scrubbing/etc and alter the price.

    What do you mean by you control the exit pages? Are these pages exit pop-ups? or thank you pages? How do you control them?

      So, you have already get some customers! Nice to hear. The basis of your price quotation is not clear to me however. The value of such traffic is lower than what you charged, I think.

        We haven't set the pricing, but thinking on just running a classified ad for email submit traffic on a per submit basis. Say the fee is $.50 a opt in, and you buy 100 opt ins, we keep sending people till 100 people opt in, so $50 for 100 opt ins. Real simple, no drama. Not something that would be for the masses, but I know I got something here and plan to make that extra $500-$1,000 a day on it.

        Contractually can't double dip and risk losing the accounts trying to get in ourselves, and we did pitch the idea to the clients but corporate legal got all involved and it looks to be a drawn out process for them to do it, but since they passed and said someone else could then let it rip!

    Honestly if it's exiting traffic, it's not worth too much money and is probably lower quality traffic.. you're probably better off just trying to market to it yourself..

      Its pretty decent quality actually. We tested on a restaurant exit on the free coupon offer direct into the funnell (Not popup) and it got decent conversion on one of those red lobster email submits. On the quality side were basically looking at per subscriber not charging per visitor. I rather just make the daily cash on renting traffic out.
