Using MGID for promoting Squezze Page

Hi, has anyone used MGID for a Squezze page? I am trying to promote mine. It's for a Gold and Silver company but so far with 35 visitors I only have 1 opt-in. Why? Is MGID fake traffic?

MGID traffic is 90% from funny picture websites. So unless your pushing something with a touch of humour, your not going to get mush traffic.

Think about it, if your looking at meme pictures, or some jailbait demotivational pics, your not going to give a crap about buying some gold...

The traffic is pretty much worthless unless you have some kind of funny pictures site.

MGID is definitely a great resource but not much profitable !

Use ot for promoting something out of box and you'll get loads of traffic but If you use ot for list building of some business then You may face hard time !!

I completely disagree that MGID seems to be a great clickable option for your advertisements posted on websites. How about when the relevant traffic clicks on your ads (if it ever) to discover something they have never imagined? Yes, exactly that is what happens when you integrate MGID with your site as a promotional engine for your advertisements. Instead of knowing much about your product the traffic actually lands straight to porn sites with links to seemingly minors engrossed in ugly body shows, which one can only assume is illegal child pornography!! MGID's pop-unders are invasive and just garbage. Their claims about doubling your traffic is a fraud, as they use bots - fake traffic. There will be a time when your site will be permanently banned. The reason is quite obvious now – Google thinks that MGID distracts traffic and probes threat for real advertisers. So, now it is your sweet will, whether you will abide by Google laws and be safe or have blind faith for this apparently potential but actually a very harmful site.

Interesting since MGID seems to be growing in popularity, I imagined it would be a good traffic source.

Is AdF.ly a better choice since it's interstitial advertising and people are seeing your site directly.

I'm looking for ways to boost traffic to my art site, and I'm looking at paid traffic since free traffic offers very little benefit.

I have a good idea about my demographics since I've gathered data from the various sites I post my work to, and I'm trying to increase my exposure to the 35 to 50 age crowd since most viewers are in the 15 to 25 age group.

Any suggestions beside PPC for paid advertising - PPC has been a disaster for me.

    Here's An Update On AdF.ly.

I set up a small campaign with them and I did receive all the hits I purchased but I received no sign ups (sent visitors to a squeeze page).

I did better just posting throughout the net offering the same free download than I did with the traffic I received from AdF.ly.

I won't use them again, since I didn't get one signup for the 5,000 visitors they sent me.
