I haven't used the affiliate program, but I'm using their hosting services. And, I haven't had any problem so far. Their client support is also top-notch, so don't hesitate to ask them any question you may have, including this one.

    They're su*ks.

If you'll make 30 sales per month from online, only 15 sales will be verified. You'll see. It's hard to fight with them.

Support is kinda great one, coz it's connected with main hosting support. But there is no phone support and live chat.

Payments... Takes ages to receive first payment.

Hostgator affiliate is trusted, they pay on time, and always on time, just they love to play with your leads.

I'm using hostgator from Jan 2012.

You can join other hosting programs through cj.com. I also feels that hostgator shaves. I sent highly qualified traffic to their program but no sales.

What do you guys think of ipage? I know they pay 115 per signup, but thats for every signup, as opposed to HG who pays a sliding scale starting at 50/signup going up to 120/signup if you get 20 signups/month
    so actually
hostgator has incentive to shave you down to lower signups because your per signup payout is lower also on lower signups

whereas other hosts who are not set up like that dont have as much incentive to shave

    I dont like shavers
    other hosts you recommend?
Also iPage pays out after the client stays for 30 days, (confirms)
HG makes them stay for 60 days to confirm

Hostgator does have a great affiliate program, most of the big sites do and as far as hostgator go themselves I have set up many sites on a baby package and have never had a problem with their services.

Customer service is great and uptime is virtually 100%

Dont go by my recommendation for iPage I am not recommending them I am simply stating what I have read on their own site
I have not searched to see if they screw with your money or shave much,

I have heard Dreamhost is great, also Bluehost I have heard good things about

Hostgator I have read too many stories of them now that I have searched around
One guy said 5 of his friends needed hosting accounts, they all signed up with HG
after 6 months they were all still signed up

he got credit for 1 sale

Honestly, for hosting they are ok for the price.. for affiliates, there are much better hosting companies to work with.. the great thing is there are hundreds/thousands..
