CPA Referrals -- IS IT WORTH IT?

I'm not much of a CPA Marketer, as I've been doing a lot of OFFLINE marketing as of late, managing a small web design company and all. But recently I've been thinking about getting back into the realm of CPA Networks and making some money via referrals. I've got a couple of questions for the forum - so hopefully you guys can give me some motivation to get this project started. :]

* Have YOU had success with making money via referral programs?
* What are some good techniques to gain active, money-making referrals?

THANKS in advance for any feedback.

Best Regards,
-- Jon.

If you're just asking about making money as an affiliate: yes, there is a lot of money to be made as an affiliate. It can be a good way to make money because the upfront costs are very low, as you don't need to design any products, and many places offer very sizeable commissions. 50% of the income for much less than 50% of the work.

Usually you need cheap, or free, traffic for it to work well though.

If you mean referring people to the CPA network. Thus making commissions off their generated commissions. Yes... at one point.

But originally how I did that was with a CPA course. I also called each one of 5 different networks and had an agreement in place to make it easier for students of the course to get accepted. This was probably around 3 years ago though. For some time it worked rather well. But some people quit CPA, opened other accounts, or moved to other networks, etc...

But it was only about $1500 a month from the referrals anyway at the time. Mainly my referral link was used to track. So that these people could get accepted more easily.

A lot of them were doing it through EZA also... until EZA got whacked.

      I know how it works.

I was looking for suggestions on how to promote my referral link and/or opinions on whether or not it's worth my time.

Thanks! If anybody else has anything to add please do so.

If you want to make good referrals of course you have to prove them why should they join under your referral, if you know what I mean. You have to show them that you made a lot of money, so they could make that too. They have to get something in back if you want them to sign up under your referral.

Assuming that you're talking about referring people to CPA networks the best way to refer people is by providing value to them and taking them under your wings. If you refer a newbie to a CPA network and also guide the new affiliate on what to do next you're not helping him but also helping yourself. For he will learn fast and earn profits sooner than others who may not get the same guidance that you provide.

      Great! thank you.

I was thinking about this. Adding some kind of incentive, maybe as well? Possibly tell them that I'll hook them up with a ton of e-books? Something like that. I don't just want dead referrals - I want active money makers.. so it's something to think about!

      Thanks!

    It it worth it????????

Ohhhh yeah!!! Hey, 99% of my income comes strictly from lead-generation and high paying CPA deals (private networks only). I highly suggest you get yourself on board

Any questions just let me know,
