GAN banner ads and merchandising text question
I've been using text ads mostly for the Google Affiliate Network, or sometimes banners. Today I started paying attention to the 'merchandising text' that goes along with most of the text and banner ads.
They don't say, but it seems like the banners and their individual merchandising text should be displayed together. Most of the text seems very good.
One banner I like is 120x600 and has a couple of long sentences of merchandising text. I can't think of a way to lay out that much text with a tall thin banner and have it look good.
Most of the smaller boxy banners would have that kind of problem too, as well as the 160x600 size.
Does anyone use the 2 of them together? How do you do it?
Edit: Never mind. I just tried one out and all the merchandising text was on the banner. It was animated (had 2 displays) which was why it had that much text. Sorry about taking up space and clogging the database with a useless question.
