Warriors please help me understand the traffic source 'BANNER' in CPA. If I drive traffic from facebook or offline to a landing page where there is a banner for an offer, is this accepted as banner traffic?

I often check with my affiliate manager just to be certain. you don't have to tell the em where the traffic is coming from but you can ask "if i send traffic to my own site with a banner... is that banner traffic? and can I do this with offer XXXX?"

Most will say you are ok to do this as long as the offer accepts banner traffic...but if unsure just pass everything by your AM - that is why they are there.

Typically a banner is considered just an image on a site, but if your unsure, reach out to your AM for clarification

Banner usually means traffic from banner placements on websites. One example of this is media buys. The google display network is another example. There are many other networks that offer such kind of placements.
