Why is it recommended to have a landing pages for CPA offers? Can't one do direct linking to the CPA offers?

Or if i am promoting a clickbank offer, and the sales page has a video, would i still need to build a landing page or would it matter if my paid traffic sources go directly to the offer/sales that i am promoting. What is there to lose if i don't have my own landing page?

I also do not believe them but many are using. I think that the customer is better to click once than 2 times..
Maybe some more experienced member would describe their benefits.

Yes, you can direct link, there's nothing wrong with that, and many offers convert extremely well when you're direct linking.

There is no right answer. Some offers convert better with a landing page, while others do better with direct linking. The best thing to do would be to split test the performance of the offer with a landing page, and without one, and go with whichever is more profitable.

If the offers has a sales page and video like the one you are promoting, I would suggest not using a landing page.

It is usually over kill. For most ClickBank products you don't need LPs.

How about CPA offer on weight loss with video, a lot of info and clear call to action - would you go for direct linking or LP?

There is no right answer, but I always like to use a landing page and collect the email address as the first step of the process before sending the buyer to the CPA offer.

Does it mean you go like this:
PPC Network --> Squeeze Page --> Thank You Page with the offer description and Link to --> Offer Page?

Google/Bing won't display multiple ads for the same destination domain at the same time. So you can't bid on keywords other affiliates of the same program are bidding on unless you have your own landing pages on your own domain. Your ads will end up just never showing; there's probably someone already experienced with that offer making more money who can outbid you.

Can you somehow combine the squeeze page and purchase page together? Maybe will increase sales conversion? I have tried Facebook ads directly to product purchase page and LARGE amount of users (90%+) don't buy

That means either the offer is saturated or the offer page isn't good enough to convert, or maybe the number of traffic/visitors is too small to know exactly if it doesn't convert at all. You can't say for sure if a offer is good/bad enough without sending at least 200-300 visitors to the page.

The way to do it is to show your offer on your "thank you" page where users are redirceted after they confirm they subscription to your email list.

What do you mean by "sending the buyer to the CPA offer" - you redirect that automatically to offer page when they hit confirmation link in their email or you take them to your 'thank you'-page and say "Check out this great product on bla-bla-bla"?

Some people use a landing page to capture some of the data that they are sending to advertisers. So in case of any scrub outs, you still have the data.

On top of that, for ppc and other areas you need one to split test for better results. It isn't a requirement on fb to not have one. You can still cloak and bypass the step, but sometimes having a LP has better chances on your conversion rates as it acts like some sort of 'preparation' for the offer.

The reason most of us run with landing pages is to pre-sell the offer.

Think of it this way... do you bust out your credit card without doing research about a product first? It's been proven that users will look for up to 5 positive testimonials before trusting the hype they find on a sales page.

By linking to a sales page without pre-selling the offer, you are hoping for a spontaneous conversion. That is, somebody who reads the hype, doesn't want to question it, and dives straight in with a credit card.

It's incredibly difficult to get conversions on paid products through traffic sources like Facebook without pre-selling the offer. Think about it. The user isn't in 'buying mode'. He's probably faffing around on Farmville, or spying his ex's photo galleries. Hoping that he'll click your ad and then decide to bust out a credit card 2 minutes later is extremely optimistic. From my experience, it's also a little foolish.

Google is different. Users searching Google with various 'buying keywords' have already shown an eagerness to buy based on their actions. You can sometimes get away with direct linking these users to a sales page. However, Google users are also likely to be researching their options.

If you find a product that looks interesting, what is your first instinct reaction? You go back to Google and search for reviews, right?

Sometimes you do this multiple times.

The landing page is usually very important for offers that require a commitment from the user, a decision to buy, because we can use them to shape the user's expectations. We can satisfy their concerns before they go back to Google seeking reviews.

If your landing page successfully conveys a thirds party perspective that the product is awesome, the user is going to buy in to the sales page more eagerly. We are social animals. We like to feel that we have social proof on our side. There's a raft of important psychology factors that you simply can't address by direct linking to an offer.

If you promote dating sites I guess the direct offer is better?
      Can you say..

    Not for me, personally.

I nearly always run dating offers with a landing page.
