Rotating offers in Prosper202 - is it possible to track clicks per individual URLs?

Hi everybody,

quick question on Prosper202.
If I use 'Rotate URLs' when creating campaigns, is there a way to track clicks per individual URLs in P202 and how?

thanks

I don't know about the prosper202 hosted one, but if you use the self hosting prosper 202 you sure can because when you use the self hosted version you will be registering and using a domain name as your link, with a pixel tracking code at the end such as this:

      http://mysite.com/Test-Offer-Tracking.html?t202id=12345678&t202kw={keyword}

12345678 being your offer, and the keyword if you are doing split testing for that same offer. Hope it helps!

FYI, The hosted version (Tracking202) was shut down last year. The self hosted version is the only option now.

        Yes, I use self-hosted P202.
Ok, I spotted it now. Can you explain how to format the affiliate link at this stage to include prosper subIDs?

        Example:
        Original aff. link:
        www.my-ugly-affiliate-link.com

How do I include tracking placeholers [[subid]], [[c1]], [[c2]], [[c3]], [[c4]]? Do I add them at the end and do I need to use "&" and "=" to include several tracking placeholders?

If you write an example, that would be very helpful.
        thanks

I think it should be something like this:
        my-ugly-affiliate-link.com&subid=TAG1&c1=TAG2&c2=TAG3
, where TAG1,2,3 - are tracking parameters from traffic source

        Is that right?
I don't need double square brackets around the placeholders, do I?

This guide should answer all your questions. Hope it helps.

Just delete the extra spaces. I had to post it like this because I don't have enough posts for a proper link.

CPVLab is a good option. It costs $297 the 1st year, continued updates are optional for $147 Per Year. If you would like to use a free tracker like prosper202, I suggest you check out Bevo. You shouldn't have any problems tracking multiple LP's with either one.

If it's only ctr that p202 doesn't show - I can live with that. I only need # of clicks per offer, and if I know conversions - I can figure out ctr myself.

I think what you looking for is not possible with p202. It doesn't give reports for URLs.

If it allows to rotate campaign URLs and allows tracking on subIDs - it should. I just need to figure out how.

I've checked your link above. Couple of things I didn't get are
    1) Should there be exact corresponded between [[c1]]-[[c4]] tags in step #3 (Campaign setup) and Tracking IDs c1-c4 at step#7 (Get Links)?

    2) Do I insert my dynamic parameters from PPC network at step#7 rather than step#3?

I think the answer to both questions is YES, correct?

After giving it more thought, I feel this still doesn't fix the problem. I can't see a way to track offer URL.
    EXAMPLE:
Suppose my original affiliate link is:
    affnetwork.com/click.php?img=0&id=4912&pf=83852&subid=&subid2=&su bid3=
and tracking parameters from PPC network are:
    PPCParameter1, PPCParameter2 and PPCKeyword
Then at step #3 I insert link:

    affnetwork.com/click.php?img=0&id=4912&pf=83852&subid=[[subid]]&subid2=[[c1]]&subid3=[[c2]]
Finally, at step #7 my tracking link will be:

    mytrackingdomain.com/tracking202/redirect/dl.php?t202id=6449&c1=PPCParameter1&c2=PPCParamete r2&t202kw=PPCKeyword
    Correct?

So then I should be able to track [[c1]] and [[c2]] at Group Overview in P202, but I can't track campaign ID which is in [[subid]]. But even if I could - It wouldn't help - beacuse campaign ID is PPC campaign ID which is common for all rotated offers. So we are back to where we started - no way to track rotated ULRs?
