PPV with Prosper202-how to track actual clicks, not views?

Hello, PPV compaign is messing up my statistics in My CPA , because every time

pop-up is served Prosper202 and CPA showing this as a Click, since I use

Prosper202 Tracking Link in Landing Page Destination URL.

It is possible to send user to the Landing page still capturing a subid (keyword/URL)
but not registering this as a click, only capture the click, when people actually clicking
on the button. By the Prosper 202 Setup I don't know how actual clicks I have if any.

Any solutions to that?

Thank you.

    Simple,

Create a landing page with the offer that you're promoting added to it.
Go to Get LP code, and get the necessary code to put on your page.
Go to Get Links to generate the links, be sure to select "Landing Page" as a method of promotion.

This way, you'll be able to see clicks when they click the actual offer on your landing page, as well as see info such as the LP performance stats.

Well, I did exactly that, so you are saying when Pop-up is served with

the tracking url for the landing page, it's not tracking as A click?

I cannot believe that I have 347 clicks from 500 views, something is wrong

      with that tracking..

Look at the Prosper202 Java Script for the Lander. Ones lander Hit

Keyword and Click is recorded. Please explain how you think it would work otherwise? So what I'm saying is, when your lander is Open in Pop-up
Click is recorded into the Prosper202 with the Keyword/URL whatever you are
        passing there in "Keyword"

        ?t202id=111111&t202kw=Keyword

That's why your Prosper202 always going to record Views and not the actual Clicks. IMHO.

They should have 2 columns Views and Clicks, When Lander is hit it's a View,

then when outgoing php tracking script is called by button click (or whatever) then it's a Click.

That's is why I think Prosper202 is working only for Clickable Advertising such as PPC,
when user actually click on the Ad First.

You have things set up correctly, yes.

Every time your popup is served, it will track as a click in Prosper202. Every time the user clicks to go to the offer, it will be tracked as a click-through, which then shows up as a click in your network.

If you are going to direct link, you should check to see if your network gives you a contextual link for the offer. That way, it will show up as an impression, rather than a click when your popup is served. This helps keep their network stats from getting skewed.

As far as the discrepancy in clicks, 347 to 500 is pretty significant. What are you using for hosting? If it's especially slow, that could be a possible cause. Also, which traffic network are you running on?

Thank you for your input.. Now I got it, I found where I should look:
          "Keywords LP CTR"
Which is "Click through Rate" I was looking
in wrong place, where only clicks were shown. So basically I have 347 Views
recorded in Prosper202, LeadImpact shown 500 served, and I got
Just a few clicks through, 5 Actually, after spending 10$ that puts me at 2$ per Click, promoting 2.50 free download.
Very nice.. I removed all those highly clicking no conversions

URLS and start test again, so far no clicks

Cool, glad you got it figured out, and you're moving in the right direction. Getting rid of the poor performing targets is the first step to making a campaign profitable Let the lower traffic, higher CTR targets run for a while and see if you get conversions from them.

When you have a decent volume of clicks on the offer you'll be able to decide weather the campaign is converting well.

Hi, please can someone help me cuz I have same problem as wizbiz.
So Im running campaign on 50 on Red and there it shows me:

    IMPR: 218
    CONV: 125

Prosper shows me: Clicks : 132
    Clicks Throughs:110
    Leads: 0

Maxbounty shows me -> Clicks: 1
    Actions:0

I have one landing page on which is my tracking code for prosper and pixel code for 50onRed, after clicking on "call to action" it redirects you to offer.

Please can someone explain it to me ? What's going on ? Did I do something wrong or ?
