So, I've got a plan and I want to see what you think of it. I'm going to try and target two niches on POF. I have two domains and I'm planning on using domain.com and either masking it in namecheap or putting it in an iframe on my own hosting. Any suggestions of what would be best to do?

I'm going to start by targeting:

race, age, gender, US

I'm going to put $300 into it and send to a CPA network that pays $38.75. I'm not sure how they can afford to pay this on a free join but we shall see. I'm going to test, test and test some more.

I assume it's better to use the higher paying CPA deals?

I suggest you make a few ads and track it to what performs better that $300.00 will buy some data nothing more. test out a few banners and landers track witch is best and then scale that up.

    Hope this helps.

So the offer's payout is $38.75? If that's the case I would warn against doing CPS offers, it is harder to do on Plenty of Fish because the users are using the internet in a very casual ADD-esk way.

If your starting budget is 300, it might not be enough to properly test offers paying 38$. I'd recommend starting off with some lower paying offers as they are typically easier to convert then once you get the hang of it then slowly work your way up to higher paying offers

Good to see the success stories, thanks. I've recently converted some cash to statistics, but no sales, and am not sure how to proceed.

I've identified where the traffic is coming from in POF and tweaked some parameters that improved the numbers to a best of .15.
I'm not sure what to do next? At what point does one consider that there is no actual life in the offer/market? I'm direct linking to a diet info product, would it be considered a must do to create a landing page that shows a review, or comparative reviews?

I've found another product, earn money online, thats an equally clear interest, and can get similar numbers but no sales, so I'm suspicious that this is more about me rather than anything else.

On both of these I've created 10 different ads, found the two top performers, changed the image on those 2 and made 10 image variations, now the results are getting less focused, and I'm a little reluctant to create for example an ad that uses the same image with subtle color variations.

Your feedback and suggestions most welcome, I'm at that phase of burning cash ($400) but not seeing progress and a little concerned. thank you

If you've got decent CTR and traffic, try split testing the offers. When you find one that's converting and got some data on that, then optimize with landing pages.

Or, send the traffic to a dating offer.

Info products are hard to sell on POF, if you are starting out stick with something the is CPL.

    Dating works great.

Also make sure to setup all your campaign settings.

Hi Greedy, thanks for the comments, can you explain the last a bit more, 'set up all your campaign settings?' I am a little lost in this dept and you may have given me a clue.

I was using info products from RAP because I have limited funds and can't afford to have them tied up in a network holding them over for 4 or 6 weeks. If I made sales one day, then expanded on it, very quickly the reserves would move from my account to the (offer) network where as I understand it I can't put them back to work for 4-6 weeks, does anyone else have this problem or is there a way around it?.

I started with dating products, 'get your ex back' and 'text your ex back', but the general response was one tenth what it was for diet and make money online, so I went to those directions instead.

      thanks BR

Dating CPA offers are the easiest way to get profitable on POF imho. When you've got a good handle on what works you can branch out from there.

Have a look at Peerfly (I'm not allowed to play with them anymore ), I believe they have early payment options to help with cash flow and some decent dating offers.

and check out the POF blog, finchsells, mrgreen and ipyxel for some good info to get started.

Go with Dating CPL, not get your ex back. If can't wait to get paid, save your money up.

What I was saying about checking the "settings" was hit the "[Edit]" button next to your campaign and check everything is setup correctly.

A $40 offer is going to be wicked hard to convert with just $300. I would set aside atleast 3 grand to test a $40 offer.

Otherwise your plan seems solid judt change the offers!

    Keep us posted!
