Help with site design idea for CPA Business with wordpress

Hi Everyone,

I have a few questions I need help with. I have only had
experience setting up a wordpress blog style review site, and stuck on
how I would accomplish a new site design.

My goal with the site using wordpress.

1. Main website url goes to a presell landing page for a CPA

offer with an opt in form to capture emails for list building.

2. Another page on the site has a review theme I own where I would

have reviews posted for CPA offers.


What I am trying to figure out is how to create a presell
landing page on my main domain address ex. mysite.com and then
have another page on my site to use as a review site for offers

ex. mysite.com/deals.

I am using wordpress and not sure how I would accomplish this

without having the main site looking like a blog with the menus,

widgets and comment sections.

I tried finding other posts on this but haven't been successful
and finding the answers I am looking for. Maybe I am thinking
to much and making this harder then it has to be. I am going
through information overload and thought I would just ask other
warriors there advice.

    Hey Sabrina, I kinda wanna help but I'm kinda confuse in your words too.

    Did you meant you want a homepage as your pre-sell page? Confuse sorry.

      Yes, I would like the home page to be my pre sell page.

        There are many different wordpress theme available, now most product, sales page uses one-column page theme.

        So simply login to your wordpress dashboard, click add a page, stuff all your content including the opt-in box you mention earlier.

        Then at last on wordpress dashboard click Setting > Reading > "A static page (select below)" > The Page You Just Created(Your Landing Page).

          Ok, hmmm...I already have the page set to static under reading.

          I also am using a review theme I purchased on here from fellow a
          warrior.

          I set up another page for my reviews and that is where my posts
          will show.

          I am stuck on making the home page just a plain blank slate to create
          a landing page.

          I removed the header image and any widgets but is still shows some
          options like, the other page I created for posts and my home link.

          I would like to have a blank page to start with.

          Any suggestions?. Would I have to create an html page and upload
          it to my main index on the site and then create a second page for my
          reviews and install my theme there.

          mysite.com- would be my landing page

          mysite.com/deals- would be where I uploaded my wordpress review theme.

          This is where I am confused how to accomplish this.

          I hope this makes things clearer on what exactly I am trying to do.

    So to simplify your question, you are trying to ask.

    How can I have a plain landing page with wordpress like most clickbank products does?

    You can try hire a freelancer, also there are fiverr-er who can work on this too. They can edit and remove some codes are that not necessary for a landing page.

    Just that you will need to browse yourself.

      Thanks for your suggestions. I would really like to learn to do this
      myself as I plan to change this landing page every so often.

      Any other suggestions or tutorials anyone knows, please let me know.
