getting approved with clickbank?

i'm not fully sure where to post this so here we go please move if needed

ok, so i'm writing this thread after reading this forum for sometime, i'm looking how to get approved with clickbank when it is a download site, i know there is a legal side of things and have to follow strict guidelines, but there is still sites still using clickbank as a payment processor, (with there affiliate program) example: sharingzone.net, iv'e ran a site like this around 2004-2006 earning a few thousand a month income but my partner who i was working with at the time we both decided to close it, now i want to get back into running a site like this but using clickbank, i remember back then i tried to go with clickbank but they declined, so my question is what would be the best way to get approved when it is a download site? the site is not up yet, there will NOT be direct illegal content on the website of course, just similar setup to as sharingzone.net but much better/cleaner site, clickbank follow strict guidelines due to the nature of the site, so how can i get approved if there is already a few download sites using clickbank already?
