What I have learned about guest posting
Simple really! Guest posting is awesome. It gives you instant credibility. I have 2 campaigns running, one driven by 7Search PPC traffic, the other driven by traffic from a single guest post.
On the day my guest post was published I received over 100 opt-ins, while the other campaign using 7Search traffic is getting opt-ins at a much slower rate.
The campaigns are in different niches, so it may not be a fair comparison, but given the huge discrepancy in opt-in rates I'm inclined to think that a guest post on a reputable blog is far more effective than "cold" PPC traffic.
