has anyone tried real estate cpa?

i found few real estate companies that pay affiliates something like 5k-10k per a house sale.

do you think this kind of thing can really work? even selling one house per a year is a nice income.

thanks!

wow that's something new. needs testing to see if this is something that could work, though I agree with the person on top, what about the tracking?

I know its a pretty competitive market.

But never heard of any affiliate doing it.

    Try it out.

  • A real estate agency, or agent is asking for trouble paying on the closing of a transaction.

Refer to RESPA on the HUD.gov website :

Section 8: kickbacks, fee-splitting, unearned fees

Section 8 of RESPA prohibits anyone from giving or accepting a fee, kickback or anything of value in exchange for referrals of settlement service business involving a federally related mortgage loan. In addition, RESPA prohibits fee splitting and receiving unearned fees for services not actually performed.

Violations of Section 8′s anti-kickback, referral fees and unearned fees provisions of RESPA are subject to criminal and civil penalties. In a criminal case a person who violates Section 8 may be fined up to $10,000 and imprisoned up to one year. In a private law suit a person who violates Section 8 may be liable to the person charged for the settlement service an amount equal to three times the amount of the charge paid for the service.

If you have a real estate license, go for it. It not ... your rolling the dice. Stick with selling leads, if your leads convert, you can get $100+ for a lead and not have to worry if it closes or not.
