- FB Ads - One of my very small test shows the below results...
- Every thing same picture, time etc etc & highly targeted... but still i get !

CPC : Imp = 1500 ish // Clicks = 2 // CTR = 0.124%
CPM : Imp = 5000 ish // Clicks = 2 // CTR = 0.034%

& i did overbid on the max suggestion by fb, just to see what happens for both cpm and cpc..


:: Question ::
- Does fb give more priority to CPC, anyone else who's done some tests, care to share some opinions, thoughts, suggestions or results..

    How many ads did you have up? For both campaigns, the CPC and CPM campaign (I am assuming you had different campaigns for your different bid types) did they they get those exact figures you posted?

    FB gives priority to CTR. The higher the CTR the more the ad will show.

      Yeah i had 2 campaigns it was just one ad per campaign so... & yeah those are the exact figures

      Campaign #1 CPC = 1 ad
      Campaign #2 CPM = 1 ad

        Guys i shared my tests, well go ahead share some of your results if you have performed some tests on fb ads...there should be a few marketers at-least out of the 500k+ on this forum (just saying)....let it just be a small test like mine, doesn't matter, what matters is that you tested something

    I think that's a good results. Just test test test and test, don't really expect a profit specially if you're just starting out with facebook ads.

      The only reason i did not wait for 5000 imp on CPC was because i already paid a hell lot for those 2 clicks on CPC & it was still ok cause i was testing a completely different angle..so wasn't a big deal ... The thing that i wanted to point out using this thread was the difference in the number of impressions..

      - Lets say my results helped me understand how soon did i get my first 2 clicks, using both CPC & CPM that was what i achieved in that test

    That's the reason I avoid Face book ads. I don't use them and like them at all.

    That it a real weird thing to happen. Maybe with the CPM ad the ad was showing lower down and was less visible?

    You can do very well with FB but I feel the whole thing is rigged sometimes.

    For example, when you double your budget for a day on a successful campaign you sometimes get more clicks but the same conversions as when you had half the budget.
