AffPlayBook opinions?

Hi there,

I'm considering to sign up at AffPlayBook, but please let me know your most sincere opinions about it? Since I've limited budget.

They say they offer case studies, but c'mon if there are 20,000 users there, that means at least half of that number doing exactly the same stuff, can that still be profitable?

Best Regards.

I am member there since a long time now and i do love it , About case studies Sorry but case studies are not for copying but their purpose is to teach you how actually things are done and give you idea how things actually work .. If you want to join forums just to copy other peoples work i feel sorry for you and i can tell you now you won`t be successful no matter what forum or community you join

There is no shortcut to success.

I'm not looking to copy campaigns, I just want to learn and know what's working and what's not without having to spend 1,000s of dollars testing every single thing. but I appreciate your comments.

      Any other opinion about AffPlaybook?

The idea behind the case studies I post, is to take the idea behind the campaign and learn from it.

A lot of people do just try to copy the case studies exactly, and the results usually aren't too good. The people who take the idea/angle from the case study and either put their own twist on it do really well.

And of course I liked Aff Playbook, but I'm a bit biased

I don't know about the case study thing. but APB is one of the best place to learn the whole Affiliate marketing thing. You can get a huge idea about the affiliate marketing.

It's a solid site for sure. They cover everything.

I totally agree about case studies in the IM world. Everyone just copies them then wonders why they NEVER work for them! If you take the thought process and apply it to your own offers, (never carbon copy a case study), you'll have much much more success.

Just to chime in about the case studies, if anyone just copies it, chances are they will fail - case studies are there to show you how to setup a campaign and make it profitable, not to copy - but there are always a bunch of people that will just copy and end up failing and giving up. Don't be one of those people!

Case studies are great, but the real key to case studies is in their name - 'study'. They are designed to be studied, dissected and then any ideas you glean from them can be creatively applied to your own campaigns.

Rather than trying to throw up campaigns blindly and hoping for the best, I think you would certainly benefit from studying and applying the techniques you can learn at forums such as Aff Playbook.

That is a pretty great reply.

What I feel is that these new affiliates join these paid forums just to access these case studies and complain that the forums suck because lets face it they are bound to fail.

          Thanks, Chintan

You're right. If people simply approached forums such as Aff Playbook as an opportunity to learn and apply their trade, rather than to find push button solutions, they would have a much greater chance of success.

You need to learn to walk before you can run. Therefore, learning and studying the fundamentals is essential if you want to become a master of anything!
