Email Marketing: PHPList self-hosted

Who has tried PHPList?

I just can't pay for awaber or get response at this point, I was reviewing phplist features and it looks really cool, I can install that in my server, any pros/cons of doing this against paid services?

I use it all the time. It is the best ever. Seriously. Do not install on server. Use the hosted it is CHEAP and you do not have to worry much about spam issues on your butt. It has a auto sender that is awesome on the server.

  Thanks for the info, but what about setting an autoresponder.. I mean a list of 12 scheduled emails for every new member... is ti possible?
