Facebook ads disapproved

I was wondering if anyone had the same problems with Facebook Ads and if there's suggestion that can help me.

I picked out this Dating offer from an advertiser from PreeFly. I set up a Facebook Ad with an external link to my domain, but directed to the Dating offer.

Early this morning I got approved. I know testing is important, so I tried to set up another campaign with everything the same, only thing that was changed was the picture. Facebook disapproved my ad within minutes. I tried to resubmit different pictures and still got disapproved. I got this message from Facebook:

Thanks for advertising with Facebook. Unfortunately, the ad or Sponsored story you submitted was disapproved for violating our advertising guidelines. Please resubmit it for review after making the necessary changes.

Have this happened to anyone before? Any suggestions how I can get around this? It's frustrating when Facebook wont give you the exact reason.

Thanks

It's pretty common. Facebook is becoming a bigger and bigger pain with getting affiliate campaigns approved. What kind of redirect are you doing with your domain? Also, is it possible the actual image you were trying to use was the cause?

Resubmitting disapproved campaigns is one of the number one reasons I see people getting banned.

Setup proper redirects/cloak so no matter what country the ad staff is viewing from, they end up at the right target.

If your ads get disapproved, look at your ad copy and images and see if those break their terms. Do not resubmit ads, but start out testing small batches of ads to see what gets approved and disapproved. When testing a new ad copy, test it with only 1 ad. When testing new images, test with ad copy that has been approved before.

I tried re submitting around 10 times now. I am getting disapproved within minutes or even seconds. I'm thinking to re submitting more but I don't want to get banded. Might wait to see what FB says.

I read somewhere that submitting on a different time of day may help. Not sure, might try again later tonight.

Are you putting the name of the dating site in your ad? Not including that means disapproval. And often they say why they do not approve.

What kind of dating offer is it? They don't like any adult, mail order brides and anything that is even leaning in that direction.

FB ad approvers are individuals and their approval methods seem to vary a lot. I've seen some very suggestive looking ads on FB, including direct links to adult hookups, although they weren't around for long.

However, like Luke says they are tightening up their approval process so it may be better to go elsewhere, or run squeaky clean offers so they don't ban you.

The domain I purchased was from NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-NO-, I had set the Domain Manger to Forward to the affiliate link. This is what I did on my first ad and it was approved. The images I used were pictures of couples holding hands or each other. It does not imply nudity or provocative or sexually suggestive.

I don't understand why it's not getting accepted. I submitted a Disapproval review to see if they can help me. Hopefully I can get this fix so I can continue testing.

I added the Advertiser link in the body with a .com, would that cause a disapproval? My body is plain and simple. Would setting up a Facebook App to redirect the affiliate link give me a higher change to get approved?

      Thanks

Most likely, you forgot to fix the targeting. ie. single users only. Male seeking Female. etc.

Facebook is hard to understand, it can easily happen that they will approve your ad and then disapprove the same one after few days, so if you've got one approved, it doesn't always mean that you can get more of the same/similar ads approved.

It is a pain in the butt, but I recommend having the person go to your website and get started by clicking on a link there to continue on. Use your website as an autoresponder to start a list which is a great way to go before going to the main affiliate page.

Dating ads are extremely difficult to get approved on Facebook these days, I recommend either moving to POF if you want to try dating on a similar platform, or just trying different offers on Facebook

Resubmitting multiple time will get you banned. Don't follow this advice.

Try to systematically rule out the cause. It's either the ad copy, image or offer. In your case, it might be the offer.
