Howdy.

As it relates to getting more millage and profit for my money, CPA wise, can $1500 go further with PPC(not Adwords) or Media Buys?

I know you can get started with $5/day(I have no desire to start with $5) but I may go as high as $100/day to start.

100% Media Buys. Go for direct site buys. Good luck!

I never hear of media buys and looked at it. I say it is worth a try, but you should not put all your eggs in one basket if you have not tested the company before.

Get something working on a self-serve media ppc network before branching out to a direct site or media buy. Direct Site buying is different than media buying (in a sense) when you purchase media it's typically from a network of sites.

PPC depends on quality score. Will your landing page or squeeze page relate to your ad? It all depends. You may be paying 10 bucks per click and your competition is paying 5 bucks. Make sure your ad relates to your landing page and you will save a ton of money.

With that budget, you're better off with ppc IMO.

In some cases, direct to site media buys may give you a better ROI, but I think that with your budge it would be better to get started with PPC first. Media buys is more complex and would probably require a higher investment, so PPC is safer route (if we can say that something is safe in the paid advertising arena ).
