Starting a CPA campaign advice

Hi,

I have just started on CPA and would like some advice...

First I will list out the steps that I have taken and kindly advise what I can do to improve.

1)Choose a CPA off (i.e. Auto Insurance)
2)Keyword research with google keyword tool. Get all the keywords and load into Leadimpact
3)Direct linking to the offer

It looks so simple but what am i missing? hmmm

I have a few questions and hope warriors can help.

1)How to track the keywords if I'm direct linking?ie I have 100 keywords
2)I read about putting in the url but am not sure how to do it properply
3)I have 100 keywords but it seems like only a few handful are getting impression. Most of my keywords are rank between 1 to 2. Maybe the keyword research part is done badly

Kindly advice. Thanks in advance

Have a good day

Do you intend to use AdWords to direct link to CPA offers? This may not be a good idea, chances are that they'll ban your account.

If you will use search PPC you need to use landing pages, capture leads and promote the offers on the back-end with a good autoresponder series.

If you intend to direct link try to go with Facebook or PoF.

      Hi,

I understand Adwords does not allow direct linking. Currently I am using PPV (Leadimpact).

I have a squeeze page to capture leads but so far the opt in rates is really low. It could be something wrong with my keywords and also the squeeze page.

PoF usually is used for dating niche right?

Yes, most of the times, but they can be used for other niches as well.

    Hi owenlee,

Firstly, well done on getting started with Lead Impact.

There are a number of things that should go into every PPV campaign that you are probably missing, for example,

Split-testing landing pages vs direct linking
Split-testing landing pages against each other
    Segmenting traffic
    Split-testing within your traffic segments

I can help you get all of this set-up if you wish. Feel free to PM me.

      Thanks for the advice.

You were saying segmenting traffic. Do you mean i create 5 similar campaign that each of them containing 20 different keyword assuming i have 100 keywords for this partical CPA offer?
