Noobie Questions: Pof Dating

I'm still keeping things simple at POF with my campaigns and I'm now (thanks to you guys) breaking even or making a little $$ every day....and it is EXCITING! Got a question where I need some guidance.

To keep things simple, I'm doing the 1000 no click and 5000 lead rule.

What if I have a creative that gave a lead, how long do I let that sucker go for after I incur the lead? Is there a very simple method to go by?

Thanks again....

I will usually allow my creative to run 2,500 views before I deactivate it. If the CTR is around 0.1% I'll let it run because that means I'm getting clicks and the trick at that point is optimizing my landing page for conversions. Of course, if you have other creatives that are converting better you might want to use those to influence modifications to your others even if they are getting a good CTR.

My rule of thumb is if the creative has cost me twice as much as the lead value and I'm not getting a good CTR or CR, pull it! You'll get a better idea of how comfortable with your campaigns/budget you are as you run traffic

It would also be wise to run creatives across multiple days before ruling them out. I believe it was here someone posted that one day their creative got very low click throughs, then the next day brought them some 7 conversions at a small run. Always have ups and downs!

Once the creative goes in the red then I deactivate, but with this in mind I often start with many different variations of ads, text, images, etc
