How to use polls on PPV/CPV

Here's an article I wrote a while back, this kind of goes hand and hand with this post (http://www.warriorforum.com/ad-netwo...ighlight=polls)

The idea is to pick a topic with low competition, you can start by looking at popular actors and actresses, popular tv shows, popular celebs, etc. Then we will search for url's based on our topic.

Once you pick your topic, you will need to create a landing page, it will be very simple, it will need a picture, 2 buttons (most likely yes and no) and 1 or 2 headings. From that landing page you will want the people to click on one of your links to "vote", after they vote they will think they are receiving a prize for voting. You need to be very careful with wording - you need to tell them they have a "chance" at something, you can't guarantee they will get it.

Here is a sample landing page, when the mouse hovers over the YES, NO buttons they change color, it's just something I added to make it dazzle - both buttons are links and so is the picture.

Now a big question I get asked, what to use for the offer? The old school way was to use e-mail submits, and this can still work. However, I recommend trying something with a higher pay out like pin submits, it will give you much more room to work with. The best thing is with CPV traffic, it generally works well with mobile offers, so it's a win/win.

One of the best things about polls on CPV is most CPV networks aren't too picky when it comes to landing pages and offers. Where as if you look at Google they are super pick. So this allows us to take advantage of stuff like this.
