What are impressions, clicks and conversions?

Hi guys, im working with Adworkmedia, i do not know what Impressions and clicks. I'm confused because Adworkmedia says im getting only 40 clicks whereas my impressions shows over 200?

I think my clicks aren't accurate because on my other network i was getting far more clicks,

    Impressions are how many times your ad has been displayed.

    Clicks are how many times your ad has been clicked on.

    Impressions are how many times your ad is displayed/shown.

    Clicks=how many times your ad was clicked on.

    On a side note if you are using Linkedin ads or others where you can pay per impression-I suggest you pay by click not by impression.
