What Am I Doing Wrong?
Okay, so I created an ad campaign on Facebook and all the ads got rejected with the reason being "The content advertised by this ad is prohibited." Alright, no big deal, the girl on the homepage of the dating site I was redirecting to could have had more clothes on. I can see where they're coming from.
I then contacted Facebook explaining that I was new to all of this and would like a bit of guidance, but the support seems to be worse than Google's. I instantly received this message "
"Thanks for contacting the Facebook Ads team. Unfortunately,
we are unable to directly respond to every inquiry at this time."
So I then decided to choose another dating offer to promote which isn't suggestible in the slightest. Turns out that Facebook has banned the domain I was using or something, as I keep getting a (#2606) error and nothing comes up when I fill in the Headline, Text and Image boxes.
I'm now forced to use another domain, so I purchase a .info domain from Godaddy as they're cheap. However, facebook doesn't seem to like this domain either, as clicking on "Place Order" certainly doesn't place the order and the same (#2606) error comes up. This happens even though the domain is completely new and Facebook has no idea where it leads to - yet, anyway.
I'm fairly sure that my account hasn't been banned, as I can type in a random domain and no (#2606) error appears.
Can anyone help me? I've got no idea where I'm meant to go from here (seems like contacting support is pointless). I know that I can start advertising on POF but I would prefer not to for the time being, especially as I've spent money on a couple of domains, a translation service and a Facebook Ad Coupon, but more importantly I've spent a lot of time and want to get to the bottom of this.
