Free method ? Youtube is great, making videos is free

Hi,

Being a newbie I'd like to start with free traffic methods.
I already know that there is YouTube and article marketing, but I'd really need help on a few questions:

1) What offers can I actually use for those free methods? I think most offers forbid the use of free traffic such as YouTube.
Many offers allow free traffic, just contact your affiliate manager. Also, you can capture leads and promote offers that allow "email" traffic using an autoresponder series.

2) What kind of offers are the best to promote using free traffic? Email submits, dating..?
It depends on many factors such as niche, method of promotion (direct linking, lead capturing, etc), traffic source, etc... But when in doubt, test!

3) How does backlinking (on Google? Bing? ..) work once I created videos and articles?
Backlinking is basically creating links on other websites that point to your site/video. There are many backlinking strategy and you will probably find something interesting if you make some research on the SEO section of the forum.

4) Would you recommend to target the American market or rather go international?
It depends on what you're doing. There are many good opportunities for people international, but if you will have to create a lot of content the translation may become expensive.

5) What other free methods are there? Are they still successful?
Video marketing, SEO, social marketing... Most free methods are still effective if you have patience and persistence.

6) Do you have some good article/video examples for me? EZine for example asks for longer articles and I don't know what to write without making it sound like advertisement (although it is) and on YouTube I didn't really find good videos (most just had very few clicks).
Search on YouTube and article directories for things like "best dating sites", "top green tea sites", "benefits of **** berry", "top auto insurance companies in the US", etc... You will find many articles and videos that have been created by other affilies.

Just ask your affiliate manager first, every network will be different. They can help point you in the right direction.

Honestly anything can work. Just depends on what kind of traffic you get.

I wouldn't really worry too much about backlinks, just make a good video that can go viral or provides a lot of value for your niche.

American usually converts to best for CPA offers, and there are the most offers to choose from.

5) What other free methods are there? Are they still successful?
Facebook, Twitter, all work ect..

I have another YouTube problem:

Peerfly wants me to redfirect to the offer and not use their link.. which means I would have to get hosting first which costs me money.

Isn't there any other method to link to the offer without having to get hosting first?
