Burnt my first 20$ at POF - Here's my stat, Need an advice

Hi,
I almost spent my first 20$ on POF.
I'm targeting educated women ages 35-40 looking for men (dating offer).
After I killed all ads which hasn't got clicked after 1.5K impressions I left with the following 3 (bid 0.65$ for each ad):
Ad#1: Imp 6,086 clicked 3 CTR 0.049%
Ad#2: Imp 2,044 clicked 1 CTR 0.049%
Ad#3: Imp 2,029 clicked 1 CTR 0.049%

How should I procceed?
Kill all 3 and start new gorup of ads testing?
Continue with these one adding improvment such borders or changing the targeting?

Sure, but do I need to kill the current 3 or let them keep running?

I would also like to know what POF tokens are.

I've been having the same problems as OP. My CTR is way, way too low. For everything I have tested in POF. (I've done clickbank products and email submits)

The current offer I'm testing looks promising. I have had 3 clicks, and 2 of them were conversions. However thats from 7,000impressions.

I figure my ads are not good enough to get clicked but if they do, I think my idea and offer will be very successful.

I've followed ad templates and ideas from the likes of stackthatmoney forum users and Mr Green but these strategies aren't helping me get clicks or a good CTR. Can't wait till i figure out how to maximize this campaign! It looks promising!!

I also have a question regarding the testing:

You guys are saying you're testing like 10 different creatives, alright.
But what else do you usually test? I mean there are endless options, theoretically you could set up more than hundred campaigns.

So what variables are you usually testing? Just picking one, let's say age (25-30, 30-35 etc.) or many? And how do you integrate that in the different creatives then? Would it look like this for example:

          - Creative 1 with age group 25-30
          - Creative 1 with age group 30-35
          - Creative 2 with age group 25-30
          - Creative 2 with age group 30-35

          etc.?

The more variables you test, the more options you will have to select the campaign that will give you the best roi, I will assume.

Ive heard of people testing 100s of different ads (ad copy, headline, picture, banner variations ect). Soon as you find one you like you can scale.

I agree, change your images and have a call to action text. You want the ladies to click on that ad so be creative.

After how many impressions would you kill it?
What is the min number of impression which I can kill my ad if it's not reaches close to 0.1% CTR?

I do 1x the payout of the offer at least.

Pretty fast, after 2K or 3K. Bad ads don't become good after a certain amount of impressions, so waiting too much is wasting money.

Test different images and try to use a more specific angle for your campaigns (targeting short women, smoking women, etc... use a specific approach for a specific audience and you will be more likely to find winning ads), it will help you get a better CTR.

    Well first thing is....

$20 isnt even close enough to test how an offer is going to preform.

What I would suggest is this: work on your CTR. Change up the banners / have a call to action and make it look catchy to your target audience. Then work on rotating different offers 3-4 (at least that is what I would do). rotating different offers lets you see which offers have the best conversion rate. Each one if running 3-4 offers should receive 100 clicks on a minimum and that should tell you how your conversions should be like with a bigger campaign.

    Hope that makes sense

Your CTR is very low, means your ads aren't working. Take your best ctr ad and run a split test making one change, let it go for 2,000 impressions, (or 1,000 if you want) and then compare to your base test.

If your new ad beats the CTR of the base test, discard the base test and replace it with the new ad as the base test. Then make one more change to the ad and run it to see if you can beat the ctr.

Do this in bulk or one at a time. This is basic testing that you have to do. Use the information you BOUGHT and make the ads better with real data to back it up.

If they aren't profitable, no sense. If they are, sure keep them going.

Try more ad variations, I normally start with at least 15-20 different ad variations

    When would you stop testing?
If I got an ad with about 0.1% CTR should I keep testing different image so I'll have 2-3 strong ads or should I keep my money and run on the one winner ad?
