I need newbie level guidance to CPA

Hi,
I am basically a software developer who is sort of tired with the long day work and everything and wish to get started with CPA. I see a lot of ebooks some of which offer cash via CPA which seems to be the hot industry.

Some methods i have thought of is - Promoting offers via Ebooks
Or Using PPC

I want to get started to this CPA Marketing right from 0 Level But all the threads and products available are confusing me.

I currently have an account with EWA Network and Applied to peerfly. I do not have any active traffic source or anything as such. I have some email lists of 2k contacts or so. Thats all.

Please guide me how to get started. if someone out here has some coaching service to offer, then let me know.

I want to know details about earning from PPC i.e Adwords linked to CPA offers.
I am confused which offer to select from EWA and how to apply PPC to it. Like do i put the postback link directly or should i make a mask URL?

Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

    I'd start off by picking a traffic source, research it, learn it and use it. Unocruntely there are no blueprints of how to become successful but there are certainly enough resources out there that show examples of how to become successful.

    Unfortunately this is probably not the answer you were looking for but you really need to decide what you want to do then after we might be able to help more, but by the sounds of it right now you don't know which type of traiffic, traffic source, method, etc you want to do and these are extremely important to figure out before we can really help much.

    Basically it come down to 2 things Traffic + An Offer. You'll find any kind of offer you want in the CPA networks. I use and really like EWA also.

    For the traffic, I'd start off with choosing 1 or 2 methods, learning them inside and out, then perfecting them. Theres lots of options: online - cpc, cpv, media buys and others. Offline includes - classifieds, flyers, banners, and others. I personally like offline methods as they're very unsaturated.

    You have an email list of 2k? What niche are they in? Promote cpa offers related to the niche that best corresponds with your list.

    As for ppc, its a learning curve. Ppc-coach, stackthatmoney forum are great coaching for ppc/cpa. I started learning from their free ebooks. Go to stackthatmoney.com and join the email list and get an ebook about a campaign. Also search the site for other case studies. There are plenty.

    Like chris suggested - you probably want to stick to learning one traffic source. Dont jump all over tge place, it will probably lead to nowhere. If you have the funds, collect all the ppc vouchers you can and get free credits to test and learn. (adwords, adcentre, fb, pof, yahoo)

    alternatively try some free traffic sources. Youtube ect and try to build up some money. Search the forum.. Some good methods have been shared here before.

    Look at in this perspective;

    You are born to die, which means humanity is a failure. Technically, you were born to fail.

    Anything in the IM world, the first few goes you will 100% fail. You don't become sucessful from day ONE. Because the experienced IM's learned from their failures, and tweaked it, and learned where they went wrong, and made changes to become sucessful, (mind my spelling, been drinking).

    Pick a Market, niche, search these forums for information about it, try it, fail, and when you fail, look and always track so yourself so you can see where your going wrong, and fix it.

    Advice is to stay away from EWA. Check this forum and you will see a lot of comments on non payment from them.

    Simple. Find a traffic source you would love to use. like youtube? videos are easy to rank
    Find a niche to promote.
    Type in on the forum the niche to see how some people are doing it maybe?
    Like search "youtube cpa" You'll find so many threads about this. And it is really popular like recently . Well in my opinion.

    Read a lot and be persistant.

    Network and talk to as many people as you can.

    The most important advice, I can give you is find 1 traffic source and stick with it.

    POF Ads, 7Search, and AdCenter all work great for beginners to Aff/CPA Marketing.

    It's been said multiple times here to pick a niche + traffic source and move forward. But I have something to add; stick with whatever you decide to get into for at least 2-3 months and obsess over it. Think about it, research it, etc.

    There are so many different things you can do to make money, that you start with one thing and realize after 2-3 weeks that it isn't making money so you drop it and move on. Don't do that unless you have covered every single corner.
