Bevo or Prosper202? Best Tracking Solution ATM (Jan 2013) [Paid Traffic Beginner]

Heylo,

I've read a bunch of threads about this and need some help please

I am just starting out in Paid Traffic. I cannot decide whether to start with (and dedicate) to Bevo or Prosper202? (I keep reading they are not that easy to setup/manage/use so I do not really want to learn both).

Any suggestions or recommendations? I am starting with Facebook traffic.

Sounds like Bevo is easier but not as powerful as Prosper 202, whereas Propser202 has a steeper learning curve but is more powerful (from my research not my experience)

Honestly, just pick one and go. There are hundreds of people that make thousands of dollars using either software. Take the time to learn how to use the software and then run traffic. Choosing a tracking software is the least of your worries.

Hi,

It depends, if you are on tight budget then go with Bevo, if you have money to buy good hosting for tracking then go with prosper202. The recommended host is beyondhosting or wiredtree. You will need $50/month to pay for this host. Shared hosting is not recommended because it's slow and if you generate lots of traffic you will get warning and server can be down.

Hi, I have shared hosting already now and my host is Prosper compliant. Can I just start with them, then move to a VPS or Dedicated hosting later? Thoughts? Thanks

Well I've decided to just try out Bevo since
a) that rep is here, friendly & accessible
b) I can get started right away

Troy: Can I only "add" networks if I am a "verified" member?

I'll be sure to share my thoughts here at a later stage for any "noobs" who might stumble upon this thread.

You have access to every feature in the tracker with a free account. There are absolutely no limitations.

A verified account gives you access to live chat support and gives you the ability to sync network stats directly (however this is not needed to track).

I've been trying to use Bevo now for the last week or so.

My main thoughts so far:
- there seems to be a severe lack of documentation; I am really struggling to find answers to simple questions
- The Bevo forum is good, but it takes a while to get a response (which is to be expected since it's free - no problems there)
- google searches are of no use since not many people have posted guides or anything of the like outside of the Bevo Forum and here (WF)
- Because of Prosper202's popularity there are heaps of guides and the like on google to help

  Bevo is great to start off and easy. The guy who runs it knows his stuff and been doing that for years. You want to spend time on your campaigns and not on setting up a tracking software. For advanced tracking I've been using CPVLab which I found easier and had more functionalities as I struggled with P202 myself. Good luck!

  During my tests i found that sometimes Bevo goes very slow and more then that sometime redirects don`t work not a good things if you are driving paid traffic specially ...

^^ think about commenting about someone not everyone is like you. 2013-02-05_1743 - MRKJ's library . I exchanged 49 emails with ryan over this issue. How can you say this that i am trying to increase post count ?

We have multiple programmers working 40 hours a week to fix bugs and build new features. Those who are familiar with software development know that it is never a "finished" product and can always be improved as technology evolves. Unlike many other technology providers in this industry, we are constantly doing everything we can to make sure we are ahead of the curve from both a technology and features perspective, even though the majority of our platform is free to use. Most in this industry launch something just to collect the quick paycheck and then disappear. Over the several years of having our platform launched, i think we have demonstrated that our support and technology growth has actually become even stronger throughout the years.
