How to create landing page with Photoshop&Dreamweaver?

Hi,

I wanna build landing pages for PoF and other traffic sources- I have Dreamweaver CS3 and Photoshop, so I guess I'm good to go.
Unfortunately I don't really know how to do it. I looked up some tutorial videos but they apparently assumed that you already have knowledge in building landing pages, because they directly opened different sheets.

I heard the best and easiest way is to create a landing page with Photoshop, save it with Dreamweaver and upload it.
Can anyone tell me though how that works? I can't open .jpg images with Dreamweaver, so as what document type should the Photoshop file be saved?
And can I just create the whole landing page with Photoshop and then just save it as a .htm in Dreamweaver and upload it to my server?
And how do I link then from my olanding page to my affiliate offer?

A lot of questions I know but I'd really appreciate some answers.

Thanks a lot!

And who is going to teach you HTML here?
Learn HTML, and you won't have any questions
You need to know at least basics.

And the page I gave I think makes from PSD file, html file, than you NEED.

I'm already reading the HTML and CSS tutorial (of w3schools)
But that doesn't answer my question if I can build a landing page with Photoshop and save it in Dreamweaver and what kind of file it should be both in Photoshop and Dreamweaver

Can you be more specific about what you are trying to do? You lost me here.

Let's say I use a landing page template and adjust it to my offer in Dreamweaver.
As what do I have to save the file now? .htm? .php?

And how do I make the landing page clickable, I mean how do I link from the landing page to the affiliate offer?

Aaaand how can I maintain a nice link, so the user doesn't see my affiliate link? I know how iframing works with uploading index.htm files, but I'm not quite sure how I do it with a landing page.

Perhaps your question are better suited for a more "tech" oriented forum. Try Tek-Tips Forums

You can also go on Fiverr and post a request; ie: "teach me how to blah blah with Dreamweaver".

I know this doesn't directly answer your questions; but I do hope you find these resources helpful

Save your PS images as .jpg files. Then open them up in Dreamweaver by going to the menu > Insert > Image. Then browse for the image that you want.

If the image files are not showing in Dreamweaver, you might be accidentally saving your files as .psd files.

Once your image is in Dreamweaver, click on the image once to highlight it (or click on the image that you want to link to the affiliate offer.

Now go to your Properties window and paste your affiliate link in the field labeled "Link"

Then you are good to go. Save it and test it in your browser by going to File > Preview in Browser

    Hope that helps.

    1. Design the website in photoshop.
    2. Slice images needed for site. Ctrl+Shift+C(copy merged) -> Ctrl+N(new doc) -> Ctrl+V(paste) -> Ctrl + Shift + Alt + S(save for web)
    3. Create HTML file for structure an content
    4. Style and position with CSS
    5. Woo!

    Simples.
