The most powerful keyword tool on earth

Hi guys,

What keyword tool are you using?

I find that the key to success is finding the right keywords.

I don't mind paying for the tool if it is useful.

The most powerful one you could use is your mind, the combinations that it can come up with are far more than any keyword tool out there - but i do like the google keyword tool

Aside from the free Google keyword tool, if you're willing to spend the money ($150 right now) it's gotta be Market Samuria.

Here's a list of the features (from their website):
    • SEO Competition Analysis*- analyse the strength of competition in any niche
    • Keyword Research*- find the right keywords to control your niche
    • Domains*- choose a domain that will boost your rankings in the search engines
    • Monetization*- turn traffic into cash with instant affiliate ads, published straight to your site
    • Find Content*- research articles, and find content to republish immediately
    • Publish Content*- write, schedule and publish content straight to your blog
    • Promotion*- build high-authority backlinks to improve your site rankings

I use it all the time and it's never let me down.

Thanks. Someone in Six Months From Today also recommended me to use Market Samurai. But I don't quite understand what is it about. Now looking for its reviews.

Google Keyword Tools + Your Brain

As always, know your products and think like your customers. What is your product, why people want to buy or get it, if they want to get it what is the first thing comes into their head, etc. Use Google Keyword Tools to get some basic keywords related to your products/services, combine it with few more words, back to Google Keyword Tools to check if the new generated keywords has traffic volume or not. I mean to find out if there is people out there looking for the keywords or not, if the volume enough for you then use and try it to see how the keywords works with your products/services.

If you have enough capitals to spend to get more keywords ideas, then try services from keywordspy, compete, semrush, etc. For me personally paid keyword research tools only to discover more keywords idea for the products/services I'm going to promote and also see the potential value of it. The decision is always in me, I decide what keywords I'm going to use. If I think keywords which manually generated by me have more value than the keywords I got from any keyword research tools, then I will use my keywords and leave the one I get from the research tools.

    Just my opinion :-)

I've always found the free ones are good enough for me.

Use them and good angles to make things work.

Google keyword tool is the best hands down. It gives you quality keywords searches. Than you build from the top ones.

Some keyword tools are just shitty and results arent great. Just use Google!

I use SEMRush as it can tell me which keywords my competitors are using. It can also give me "related" keywords for a given keyword.

I agree that Google Keyword Tool is really nice. So what I usually do is start there to do quick analysis on an idea I have. Then if it looks good I open Market Samurai to do more detailed research. It offers a lot of functionality that aren't available with just the GKT

Here's a screenshot from Noble Samurai that shows the Keyword Research tool (the callouts are from them - not me).

For me the first is Long Tail Pro, confirm with Google KT. Market Samurai is also good but leave it now because it's too slow on my end, and I use LTP instead.

I signed up for Wordtracker yesterday but they are experiencing some issues with retrieving data from Google. Once that is fixed, I it's one of the best ones out there for analyzing which keywords to go after (you can upload them in bulk in Wordtracker)
