What is the best way to use CPM to sell a Kindle book? I just published a new book on Kindle. The link is in my signature. I am thinking of using CPM or CPC to try and promote and market it. What is the best way to do this? Facebook CPM? Use AdWords? I hope that I posted this in the right forum. Right now I'm planning to at least use social media marketing, but I think that CPM and/or CPC might be able to help me really have a lot more success if I can reach a positive ROI.

  I think that I can definitely purchase advertising that directs individuals to a page on my own website that promotes my Kindle book. Am I wrong? I'm not sure how efficient and/or effective that might be.

You need to establish which ad networks specialize in your niche. Don't limit yourself to CPM. In fact, in many instances you'll probably lose money until you totally nail your creatives, landing pages, etc.
