Scaling POF Ad Campaign

Hi guys,

I have found 2 winner POF ad. How do I scale it?

Currently, my daily budget is only $5 each and have 2-3 average conversions ($7/conversion) , do I have to raise it like $25/day?

If you have other advice to scale it more, please share?

Thank you very much!

You need to duplicate your campaigns. You can do that on POF.

      Hi PPC Coach,

should I duplicate it with the same banner in the same demographic? Will it be awkward seeing 2 same banner ad?

Shall I also add the daily budget, or just stay with $5/day?

How shall I combat banner blindness?

It's pretty many questions above, sorry

Thanks for the reply PPC Coach

    - Crank up your daily budget.

    - Make 2 other ads just like it.

    - Keep split testing offers, and LPs.

    - Don't worry about banner blindness until it happens. Banner Blindness means your CTR will drop. This isn't just two slightly lower days in a row. Don't jump the gun on it.

There is a new WSO from "Anthony W" that is about POF.
You get Videos and PDFs that explain the best way to setup profitable campaigns. Very good for newbies.

        Well worth it.

If you found a campaign with potential, then start the optimization and scaling process. here are some tips that may help you:

    OPTIMIZING

Building profitable campaigns depends on 2 things: creativity and numbers. Picking good offers and finding effective angles to promote them is a matter of being creative, having nice ideas and thinking out of the box. Using those ideas effectively and improving the metrics is a matter of controlling numbers.

So, when you're done with the creative part of the process (when you have the campaigns with potential), you have to start working with the numbers to turn your good idea into a profitable, consistent campaign. So, focus on the metrics.

CTR => The number one thing you want to be able to do is to generate quality traffic at a low price. On PoF, since it's a CPM platform, it's very simple to do, you just need ads with a high CTR. Split-test different ads, find the winning images and ad copies. Then, pick your top 3 or 4 ads and create variations (use different borders, shadows, effects, etc). Remove bad ads first and focus on the ones with a high CTR (the very minimum would be 0.1%, but the more the better).

EPC => Getting cheap quality traffic is useless if you don't use the traffic properly, so you must find a way to get people to complete your offer. It seems that your offer is already converting well, so you may be able to skip this step, but if you notice a worse conversion rate bafter scaling the campaign, split-test offers and test some landing pages. Sometimes, just a small word, a slightly different call-to-action can make the whole difference, so test offers and landers to find out what converts.

    SCALING

BUDGET => If you're investing $10 and making $20, invest $100 to make $200. Pretty simple. When you turn a positive ROI, increase your budget.

TARGETING => If the ROI is good, try to broader your targeting a little bit. Maybe increase the age range, remove a targeting options, etc... try to make the campaign reach a higher amount of people. It may decrease your ROI, but may also increase your volume. So, compare both situations and see which one is more profitable for you.

COUNTRIES => Many offers have more than one target country. So, if you're runnign a campaign for UK, consider replicating that campaign for US, AU, etc... It doesn't work all the time, but a small test can give you an idea on the perofrmance of the other countries and, eventually, you will find some winners, so it's worth a shot.

I hope it helps! Keep up teh good work!

    Some more ways to scale...

    - set distribution to "distribute ASAP" and use more of your budget
    - duplicate your campaigns. just bid a $0.1-0.2 cents lower to make sure they're not in competition with each other
    - upload more creatives to a new campaign with the same targeting options (bid a few cents lower)
    - scale into different login counts (bid lower for higher LCs)
    - target different countries if your offer allows
    - also another way that worked super well for me, but I don't want to openly share it, so PM me

Also, something else that I learned from Tom Fang of http://www.ipyxel.com (amazing POF resource) is scaling your system. Getting things done faster and more efficiently. Basically, you should have standard operating procedures for all your tasks (image collection, testing, ad uploading, etc.), document them and continually improve them.

when you say duplicate your campaign, are adjusting anything? adding new ads perhaps? or is just completely the same as your other campaign? what does this do? are you just doing this so both your campaigns are in top 1 & 2 spots, meaning it'll have better chances of converting?

Ninety-nine percent of advertising doesn't sell much of anything.

That would be Interesting to know.
Does duplicating ads not trigger the banner blindless even further?

Yeah, you can either ad new creatives or just duplicate it as is. This is just to get more impressions.
