Relatively new and one thing I can't grasp. All over it is common knowledge that email/zip CPA is the easiest. Time and time and time again, I test it and it DOES NOT convert.

Is it because I don't sign up for the 2 offers at the end of the rainbow? Most people won't....

Suggestions? Advice?
#email or zip #submits

Do you mean you test by filling out your offers yourself? They might have your email or ip on file, best thing to do is ask your am

Most email submit advertisers track IPs so if you complete more than one your leads will start getting scrubbed automatically. They can be very profitable if you are creative when promoting them and drive legitimate traffic to them. I have a complete article on how they work at: How E-mail and Zip Submits Work

Thanks for posting this mate, really informative! I thought they are only for the email until now. Personally I've never tried to follow an email offer ever before... Now I get the idea, totally.

      So, at PF I usually see the following - for example;

Get a free Apple iPhone 5 - details apply.
This offer converts on first page.
From my understanding, if I drive 100 uniqs to the offer page, and 10 out of it fills the email field and than let's say 4 out of the 10 fills the mailing address I still get 10 x $1.40, right? Or am I missing something?

I guess those people who entered their email address will most likely enter their shipping address as well. However, if I were the random surfer who has to enter his email and I'd see the second page asking for my details, I'd close it right away.

I think, down the line the advertiser pays much $$$ for a person (let's say $10) but he will end up having a bunch of emails, and out of it a bunch of emails with their owner's details as well - the best way to send targeted offers to this user over time and make more money. It's like an investment.

As an affiliate, all I have to worry about is to try sending quality traffic and even if I try to do my best the advertiser can put me on the blacklist anytime. Hm...

There is one more thing I'm curious about:

Do not promote this offer using youtube videos, unless you are using the ad platform on youtube.
Okay, let's say I have a landing page, looks like a PPV landing but a bit bigger, has more information on it, it's like a well designed billboard near the road. I have videos here and there on YouTube, and those videos all about "reviewing the offer" and tries to encourage the surfers to click through to my landing page. This way, I'm basically using YT to generate traffic, but sending that traffic to my lander first, and then, if they are STILL interested, they might want to click through to the offer page. Am I doing something wrong with this, maybe? So it's not direct linking from YT to the offer, but it's like having my gateway-ish page between YT and the offer page, that carries my affiliate URL. With this, me as an affiliate can filter the traffic and not sending "junk" straight from YT, but the ones who are interested in the offer.

The email submit payouts vary, but if you have a 10% CR, get 10 clicks, and each one pays $1.40 then you would be paid $14.

If an offer says it cannot be promoted on YouTube except through paid ads then you cannot use any other method including linking in the offer description/video. If you have your own website with a banner or something than that shouldn't be a problem along as you are not directly promoting.

As Luke told you, they are tracking your IP addresses in most cases. You'd be better stick with a legitimate traffic souce like 7search - as a newbie - and you will see results. Create a landing page and try to track your campaigns. Just test, test, test and you'll be good to go!

it's still classed as promoting on youtube buddy
whether you get found out or not is another question, but this is clearly in violation of the terms you quoted

Ah, okay, thanks folks. So I have to find an offer that let me promote it directly on YT. Because my landing is like a ppv lander, nothing more.

any offer that allows social and doesnt specifically ban youtube should do, but always better double check with your am when in doubts

if you think you have a good creative angle for this particular offer and your video is not deceptive and you believe it will result in high converting leads for the advertiser, you can still apply through your am and they will run it through the advertiser for permission.

Aham, good info! Worst case scenario is, I have to change my lander to an optin page and than send offers to the addresses I have or find an actual offer that let me do that.

Luke, I'm going to hit you up in a couple days via PM if you don't mind.

I don't know where are reading this?

People may recommend because of the lower testing costs needed.

But saying the easiest I would disagree. Everything can equally as challenging when it comes to offers. But some traffic sources are easier than others.
