Need Some Honest Feedback Fast

Hi

I'm Jason and to be honest, I'm new to lead generation but not to affiliate marketing. However my new boss is sharp as a razor when it comes to leads but between you and me (doesn't have a clue about affiliates). I might need to edit that out if he ever finds this post online

So I have been set with the task of creating an affiliate program for my new boss. Quite exciting for me, however I need some help from you guys on the trading floor so to speak. This has got to work for you guys as much as it will for the company.

Leads are for Health Insurance, Over 50's Life Insurance, Loans

I would really appreciate if you could shoot me some quick 1 or 2 liners to these quick questions.

Do you have a preference on which network / agency you use?

Why you prefer this network / agency? ie.. speed of payment, problems resolved quickly

What you need as an affiliate to promote successfully? ie.. editorial copy, banners, form submission integration etc..

Do you prefer to work directly rather than through a network / agency and why?

your top 3 moans about anyone you supply leads to currently? (please don't mention any companies here)

I can't discuss our company name etc.. openly at this stage, but if you want to shoot me a pm. I can let you know details as soon as we are up and running.

I really appreciate your time here, hopefully we'll get some good ideas thrown in here.

Jason

I'd prefer if agencies / networks contact me via pm. This really is aimed at getting the affiliates view point.

Instead of going with 1 network, you might want to try to get across a few, this will expand your reach..

As for how it's promoted, why not just leave that up to the affiliates? It's really impossible to give an answer as to what will work best..

clickbooth has a very good reputation but they expect a minimum $10k/week spend and a very good landing page.

beyond that your best bet is to get your landing page in order (made by a pro) and ask around in a paid forum like stackthatmoney. thats where good affiliates will be. ask them to run a test of say, 100-1000 leads depending on your cpa. Your cpa needs to be about half your profit in most cases, but I don't know how it works for insurance. Go to affiliate forums and learn.
