Have you ever placed a FaceBook ad, made sure you carefully followed the Guidelines and still get it rejected?

There is nothing more frustrating than continually getting the message "read our Guidelines" with each rejection.

"Yep we looked at your ad and immediately saw what we did not like. But we are not going to tell you. Read the guidelines and try again. But, if you try too many times and piss us off, we will close your account. Have a nice day."

It is as if you keep reading them the screen will glow brighter and you will get moment of insight.

I tried contacting them on the phone but these people would not even crack with water boarding. Is there any place at Facebook where they will look at an ad and actually tell you why they rejected it?

we might be able to help you on here.. have you checked your destination url and double checked that it's sending to the right place and not geo-targeting them to a different page?

I use a php script that sends them to a page appropriate for the country if they are in the country or use a server located there. If they are anywhere else, the get the generic page (a Be2 ad) which is pretty neutral.

Now, if the headline says Single? - Like Dogs? the in-country page might show this again with the dog picture, etc. The generic page will have no mention of this. I don't know if this is a problem or not.

They also get weird on the use of the term Single? They don't want it to have a negative connotation. So, Single and Lonely? is a no-no.

I have the same thing happen and I'm sick of it. It's so hard to get dating ads approved on FB.

I switched to a different ad, changed things up a bit and got one approved and working. But yes, it is a pain in the butt.

Usually it's the targeting like gender or relationship status.
