Just got a tweet from Gauher about Zango's death.

You can read about it here: Zango goes titsup ? The Register

I have seriously thought about PPV marketing on Zango lately. Good thing I procrastinated.

Is there a suitable alternative? Is this a BIG deal to the PPV community?

    Yeah, read this as well.
There are other PPV companies, like TrafficVance and MediaTraffic (I think, not 100% sure of the names). Anyways, all the other companies dont have the negative reputation that Zango had at least.

Just like 180solutions was dead, and ePIPO was dead...

Don't bloody count on it, it will just come back under another name like it always does.
Frankly, that their affiliate program is still operating kinda says something doncha think?

There was some rumors that they were bought out by another company, so I think thats why their affiliate page is still up. But its not 100% confirmed for now.

Wonder what will happen to all the affiliates that are owed money by Zango tho.

Never tried their affiliate program myself and as far as contexual traffic the only one iv'e used is mediatraffic so not a big loss here either if it is true that is.

      No thanks Media Traffic.

Media Traffic requires that all advertisers provide proof of Identification.
Please complete the form below and provide a photocopy of government issued photo id. Driver's license and Passports are acceptable.
No way! I'm not sending a photocopy of my ID to use my paypal account to pay the bill.
And if you opt to go the credit card route they also want a photocopy, front and back of your credit card. I'm surprised they didn't ask me to zip down and provide proof of gender too. LOL

No thanks, the usual credit card or paypal required info is all they need to transact business. It works for everybody else. Or call on the phone like some do for verification.

Zango is now LeadImpact, or their assets were bought up by the company that owns LeadImpact. It's still PPV adware, and all former zango accounts have rolled up to leadimpact.

They've gone bankrupt MANY times, but they are still in business. Just reorganization. Right now I'm still promoting their PPI on my websites - and getting paid from "Zango Nevada I".

Another day, another dollar, another LLC.

yeah, Zango (or whatever it is called now) drives very poor traffic if at all.
I wonder if it is a at all targeted as they say...

Oh and they do still pay for the downloads on their PPI program
I have some old campaigns running on some sites and they bring dollars every months.. Not much to speak of certainly.

If you visit the website, you'll see a message indicating that they are now a closed door user community. The contact email is for Pinballcorp (as mentioned above)
