New Website just Launched

Hi,

I just launched a new site about baseball I have a PeerFly offer that comes up when people are about to exit the site. Do you think people would click on my offer? Unfortunately, it's a iPad offer. Right now PeerFly does not have Baseball offers.

    Hey,

I got the offer in a few seconds after opening your site, not when I wanted to exit.

I would not call my visitors as "traffic" when i'm talking to them.

You should analyze your website's demographics so you will know your visitors average age, income, interests, etc... and write reviews about baseball stuff like baseball bats, etc (I don't know, we don' play baseball in my country). And maybe put Adsense or Media.net (preferred by me) ads later.

    Good luck!

You must have scrolled to the top of the page. Above the links for Home, About Contact, etc.

How long have you been testing it?

How many clicks have you gotten?

It may work. What are your test result looking like?

I haven't purchased traffic yet. Starting tomorrow I will buy visits from the America. I'm trying to see if I can get clicks for 3 cents and a budget for that day of $10. I'm using a PPC company that specializes in getting traffic for social media like a video or blog. I have Google Analytics installed, so I'll be able to track if this is real traffic or fake traffic. If people stay on the site for a good amount of time I will assume it is real traffic.

I also have a subscription, for a e-mail newsletter so hopefully some people will sign up for that. Beats paying for traffic over and over again. And I have a e-mail throttle plug-in. I can use this in case I get more than 500 people to join my news letter.

When using WP and developing traffic that sticks (returns), then I would consider getting a great deal more content. Also, your stats page simply takes visitors off your site to ESPN. I would find a stats feed that you could populate that page with instead of sending visitors off site.

WP for content sites, HTML pages for landing pages that pre-sell and funnel. I use WP often, but I set up sub-domains for the HTML Landers to pre-sell before sending them to an offer.

I am only a couple of months in with CPA, but this has been working well for me and I have been in the black since the second week.

Keep refining, I hope you make a bunch of $!

I may include more offers as ads on your site other than just one pop-up.

Rotate different offers to see which converts better. Test and test and see what's working for you.

Anybody know a good plugin for getting stats like "bit twiddler" suggested? I tried a few scripts but they don't work.

I'm going to write a new post right now about Matt Cain giving up 9 runs in a inning. Sometimes baseball is crazy. Every once in a while, one of the best pitchers cannot even get a out.

It appears as soon as you launch the site. Might cause an issue with SE's but for me, even if I found your site searching for baseball, I might just click on the iPad as a free electronic device is of interest to me. Site looks good though.

What types of ads is your competition showing? I'd start by using what they are

I don't have any competition. My site was only launched on Friday. I will be buying traffic in the morning and if it's real traffic, and is converting, I will scale it. The traffic I'm buying is much cheaper than AdWords and AdWords is not designed for promoting blogs anyway. The PPC company I am trying is made for promoting blogs. Wish me luck

Don't budget you money by day, do it as a whole and spend it as fast as possible.

    Keep things moving forward!

I want to first see how the traffic comes in before I decide to buy lots of traffic.
