[Facebook Ads] Direct Linking CPA Offers

Hello,

I have a small issue concerning the domain name displayed in the Facebook ads.

Since I will be installing P202 on the domain "abcmydomain.com" to track and redirect the cpa affiliate link, would I need to put "abcmydomain.com" in the Facebook ad as well? Can I instead display the domain name of the cpa offer "cpaofferdomain.com" instead since I will be direct linking anyway (no LPs)?

I was thinking of using a generic domain name to track every url, but if I would need to display this domain name in the facebook ads, I guess I would need to purchase a domain name for each cpa offer to make the domain name more targeted to the campaign.

Facebook will trace your link and show the domain that you are direct linking to.

Not clear on tracing the link. u mean FB would test the link and see what/where it goes first?

I can understand Facebook banning site domains often using the generic "it i for security reasons and they dont want their clients computer being hacked or compromised"

But it sounds like FB doesnt want certain type of links.

i tend to redirect traffic to an internal link (via fanpage) and give the user the option of going to the external link.

Quite honestly if you cannot promote a product/service on FB then it is not the only site in the world. Sometime I think Mark Zuckerberg could have done a better job of hiring people that wants to make money not be stuck with crappy lawsuits and an inferior marketing platform.

If you want to make money on Facebook with a CPA offer - there is a way.. go to this WSO and Justin broke it down to a T --http://www.warriorforum.com/social-m...ml#post7973924

Typically FB will display the domain where the user ends up after the redirects.

Only 301 and 302 redirects do that. if you use JavaScript redirect, they can't track domain.

Yes java script redirect worked for me. But nowadays facebook is having a team to deal with this type of situations. Wont be easy as before

They can trace every hop. If they aren't able to, typically they'll just deny the ad.

Yes, you can put the domain of the CPA network in the description of the ad, it probably won't get your ads rejected.

with cloaking enabled and using prosper, my ads display the prosper tracking url in the ad, not the target domain. if i try to post a tracking link in a post that direct links to a cpa, it usually gets rejected

can anyone share a quick link to a good reference for how exactly to do a cpa link in a facebook ad? i dont know how to do redirects and all of that...but if someone can point me in the right direction with some instructions im happy to read and learn. ps, im somewhat new to WF...been reading and visiting for a while but recently joined and started becoming vocal

a little history on me, i built an amazon affiliate shopping site a few years back, didnt have the time to keep up. now i revamped it and wanna start working at it again. however, i also want to learn more about cpa. especially since my goal is to make some kind of money as fast as i can..i figure cpa is the better thing to devote more time to, and work on the amazon site a little with my extra time since the commissions are so low on there. ive read a lot and still feel unsure about how to start with cpa, so like most people say on here, just start doing it. i joined cpalead a week ago, tried some lame methods of driving traffic to the surveys but no bites (sharing links on popular youtube video comments, fb groups, pages, craigslist, etc...i also couldnt do very much with just me alone. would be better if i had some virtual assistants i guess). anyways, now when i continue to read more, it seems paid advertising is the best way to go. so im gonna try this..start very small (like $5 maybe) and see if i get any kind of action whatsoever. if so, it will motivate me to save more money to invest back into more advertising later. anyways, so now im exploring just exactly how the heck you do paid advertising with cpa links, but im still looking for answers. so back to my original request--if anyone has any good resources they can share, id love to read them!! thanks and im looking forward to one day making a post about my first $ earned with cpa. (btw i did make a few bucks with my amazon site back in the day. not a lot, but like 20 bucks ever so often...and the way i promoted it was through twitter, pinterest, tumblr and facebook, on my own. i hate to think about where i could be now if i had just kept it up from 2011)
