I suspect it's a problem with your host provider. Prosper 202 needs to be run on a VPS (or similar) as shared and free hosting are known to cause problems. P202 requires custom configurations in order to run. Shared and free hosting providers likely won't be able to provide the necessary resources to get it running right.

So did anyone that replied in this thread actually see the error message?

OP - you need to contact your web host. There is nothing anyone here can do for these errors.

Don't re-install or start changing things, that's not the problem & it's insane that people would just start telling you to do this & that when they have no clue what the error means.

Advice: Use a paid service that supports more options.

I advised the OP to reinstall as an initial troubleshooting step that could possibly solve the issue without having to go to his hosting provider. There's certainly no harm that could come from it, so please restrain yourself from using word like "insane."

To the OP: Free hosting won't be at all sufficient to run Prosper202, hate to say. I would recommend having a VPS plan at the very least.

However, the error at hand clearly states what the problem is. This is a php security feature.

I think it might be clear to a PHP programmer. Most people giving advice on this forum, however, are not PHP programmers (myself included). Nevertheless, I work to give the best advice that my experience makes me capable of giving.

If you want to educate people on PHP, be my guest, but there's no need to belittle others when the're simply trying to help.

I'm not belittling anyone. If someone told you their car makes squeak noise, would it be right to tell them "oh, try replacing the transmission".

That is why I noted for the OP to contact their web host as there is nothing here that can be done to fix the problem.

umm, don't run 202 on free hosting start there.

If you can't afford VPS hosting, then track with Sub-Ids.

I had problems with P202 and never got an answer anywhere. I use shared hosting and the P202 website clearly states it should run on hosted solutions with a certain configuration level, which mine did. If it requires a VPS to run then they should say so and not have people wasting their time.

(I reinstalled it a number of times and talked with my hosting provider. Neither was any help.)
