Integrating your advertising into social
On one of my sites I am hitting an issue with my advertisers (a combination of CPA and people paying direct for space) saying that they are not seeing brilliant returns, the conversions are high but the click traffic is low.
I am against littering my site with ads in order to get more eye balls and was considering maybe what I need to do is bring my social presence into the fold.
At the moment on Facebook and Twitter my followers are getting high quality relevant links either to my site or similar sites and I am not really "selling" to them, my line of thinking is that they wouldn't mind if maybe once a week or so a tweet or an update went out that was clearly promotion for a service.
I was wondering if anyone of you had experience with this and what you would suggest?
