Landing page domain

I am in the process of getting into dating CPA after spending some time with PPC / website and need some clarifications. A few write-ups I read advised to get a generic domain for the landing pages.

So will the generic domain be something like xyz.com without having the 'dating' or 'date' word in the domain name? Then for dating landing pages, you will create a sub domain and call it dating.xyz.com ?

Do you further create sub directories for the various offers?
So for Mate1 offers, it will be dating.xyz.com/mate1/
or would you rather have subdomains like
mate1dating.xyz.com?

Appreciate any feedback on this.

Sure it would be nice to have the word "Dating" in your domain. But don't beat yourself up over it.

In regards to sub-domains vs folders, both work fine.

I typically prefer to have the domain at least match the niche, but generic does work

In terms of domain, i would use something related to dating. Thereafter the linking doesn't really matter as long as you have a fast hosting.
