YouTube- How to make it work?

Hi,

Got another question on YouTube.
I've been trying to make YouTube work for almost 5 months now and all I earned was around 90$ all together.

I'm promoting email submit offers, like 'Win a H&M gift card'.
I have several channels and some of the videos are related to the offer (e.g. I have a channel only with fashion reviews, for example H&M haul with the link to the offer included in the description and in the video) and some videos are not related to the offer.

On some videos I'm getting good traffic (my best video had 22,000 views so far), many others unfortunately don't (many just have 50-500 views even after a few months).
I'm always choosing my keywords for the title, description and tags carefully (also using the Google and YT keyword tool) and I ping the link to pingfarm, digg and stumbleupon.

I really wanna make it work but I'm running out of ideas. Therefore I have five questions for you guys:

1) Is YouTube even still worth it or is the time where you could make 100$ per day over?

2) Should I stop promoting email submits and move on to other offers (because of the scrubbing and maybe because 'win a gift card' looks like scam)?

3) What kind of offers would you recommend the most for YouTube? Email submits, downloads, gaming, diet, dating...?

4) Should the video always be related to the offer? How do you do it?

5) What methods can you generally recommend for YouTube?

    yes youtube is worth it.I have made a lot of money using youtube marketing.

    See all the free traffic source need hard work before you make good amount of profit. If you think you can make good amount of money with couple of video you are mistaken.

    should video be related to the offers.?

    Yes. Because if you do not have targeted users your conversion rate will drop and you will make no money or less money.

      Email submits? Dating? Diet? Downloads? Credit? Etc...

        Try to get them to a Squeeze page so you can get their email like silent said, this way you can form a relationship with them first by giving them information they are looking for. For instance give away some dating tips through email and then tell them about your dating offer and most likely they will buy or sign up because they trust you. This will work with anything?     If you put in the work, and really creative yes. You have go into with a plan of trying to hit $100 a day. Do the math, and go to the volume.

    Yes, I recommend newbies use offers in the $3-$10 range. Low on scrubbing and cheap on testing cost.

    3) What kind of offers would you recommend the most for YouTube? Email submits, downloads, gaming, diet, dating...?
    Anything can work.

    4) Should the video always be related to the offer? How do you do it?
    Yes, I should be related to the niche, or angle you are pitching.

    5) What methods can you generally recommend for YouTube?
    Building an email list from Youtube then promoting CPA to them, is a GREAT route.

    Even niche varies, but the more the better.

    I heard of people who have thousands of videos up, others just a few.. what's your recommendation?
    Either way can work, just don't flood or spam Youtube with videos unless they provide content.

    Do some keyword research and concentrate on title, description and tags . Try to make them as much targetted as possible. Views do not matter much but the targetted visitors which only possible if you have your keywords in title, description and tag.

    It will help if you get tutorials and helpful tips when making youtube videos. The quality of your videos will also matter and how you present them. Make sure you keep your visitors interested the entire time or else they will close your page even before reaching the middle part of your video. Videos are still essential today because there are still people who prefer to watch than read long posts.
