I would start with Bing Ads, PPV, or POF.

Choose one and stick with it. Don't jump around much.

Test an offer with a payout range from $3-$10 to save money on testing.

There are a lot of great courses out there.

But at the end of the day it really depends on the traffic source you are trying to learn.

Decide where you want to start, then we can recommend courses.

Not at first, I would suggest trying to get some stuff going on your own first.

Use a coach as someone who consults with you about your IM business.

Not some who helps you built it from the ground up.

Understand most campaign's fail so don't get frustrated.

Be persistent, and keep your head up.

Don't give up. Read all you can.

I would start with PPC and list building.

2.Is there a course you would take?
I'd research the top courses on PPC and list building and would get them. Of course, I'd get many information from those courses, but it would help me to get a good understanding of the industry faster.

3.Would you get a coach?
If I were trying to become successful in just 6 months? Absolutely. You can succeed without a coach, but doing it in 6 months starting from zero would be very tough if you didn't have someone to help you. There are some many things to learn, not only about methods, but about approaching the campaigns properly, getting organized, etc, so a coach would be very helpful in this process.

4.What advice would you give?
Be organized, work on your internet marketing business as if it were any other offline business. Also, be prepared to invets money, it's nearly impossible to build a real business in 6 months without an investment.

Stick closer to CPS like Amazon or CJ. Much better return on your time IMO. CPA campaigns burn out more than not, and are extremely stressful. But then again I dont know your risk tolerance or budget.

Where would you start?

First i will try to signup to all the networks which i would think are worth it for beginners, for example maxbounty and peerfly.

i would focus on seo or ppc or ppv or facebook. first i will master one source of traffic then i will move on to the other one. and building my list as will so that i can milk them more then onces.



Is there a course you would take?

I would recommend to try it by yourself first. Some of the great source are blogs and forums. start following blogs and forums and learn from other people mistakes.

Donot be afraid to fail and take action all the time.


Would you get a coach?

till now i have not had a coach and have been successful. setup goals and take action because if you donot have anything out there. how are you excepting to make money?
taking action = better than any coach.

You must focus learning as much about the offers you are going to promote and then research the best ways to promote these offers.

Different offers are promoted in different ways. Then stat up a campaign to test. I would advise not doing any PPC at first. Your budget management can get out of control. There are many ways to drive free traffic to offers.

So I am new to this site but stumbled across the information here via forums.digitalpoint.com. I am big on forums but not FB.

My goal for now is to find a way to earn $500 per month....

Is this a realistic goal by getting into internet marketing?
