CPVLab tracking Exemple Needed

7 replies
Hello, I've been waiting to save some money to get started in CPA and I bought cpvlab for its tracking ability. However for some reason (Im slow?) I cant figure out exactly how to track using the global postback url, Im not sure it will be fine but just testing the link in cpvlab I get to the offer, the click is tracked by peerfly but in cpvlab there is no views or clicks or anything..

What am I doing wrong ?

Here is what I used in Peerfly postback global url:

http://domain.com/track/adclick.php?...e=%commission%

In my campaign I used an offer from peerly and put that link in cpvlab:

http://trkur.com/trk?o=2843&p=102873&s1=

Help would be greatly appreciated!!

Im only direct linking at the moment.

    Your global postback looks correct.

    Did you test the campaign URL from the link in campaign setup page? IIRC CPV Lab doesn't record visit/click from the admin section to avoid skewing the stats. You have to copy-paste the actual link in the browser.

    Make sure you clear all cache and cookies before testing the link as CPV Lab stores most of the information in cookie. Usually I use a different browser to test.

    Im back with more cpvlab tracking issues lol!

    I setup an offer in cpvlab, used the pof dynamic tokens and it gave me an url like this:

    http://domain.com/base.php?c=9&key=5b92Fwe459c5479a4ed7b2389&keyword =EDIT&ad={creativeid:}&state={state:default}&gende r={gender:default}&age={age:default}

    Now I then try the url in my browser and get an error:

    403 Forbidden

    Access to this resource on the server is denied! Powered By LiteSpeed Web Server
    LiteSpeed Technologies is not responsible for administration and contents of this web site!

    Thats from Peerfly server for the offer..

    Now funny part is if I use only the first part like this:

    http://domain.com/base.php?c=9&key=5b92Fwe459c5479a4ed7b2389&keyword ={creativeid:}

    That works?!?

    Anything Im missing ?

    BTW I use a global postback like this:

    http://domain.com/adclick.php?s1=%subid1%

    Thanks!

      When you try to access your link directly with the variable placeholders in your link it will error. When you use that link on POF the POF system will automatically change those placeholders and your link will work fine.

      Your Global Postback is working fine with s1=%subid1%?

          Thanks for this post. I was having issues with my tracking pixel after it was installed in my affiliate network, so I contacted my AM to test. Hope this helps someone!
